what a beautiful place, we stopped by for refreshing drinks, which are unique and super tasty!! and i believe all can be made vegan as the super friendly waitress asked us which milk options we want. The ice cream is also super unique and interesting!!! Definitely a good experience

Read moreThis is one of the sweetest places I have visited. Even literally - the incredible selection of ice-creams. But I mean the friendly welcome, warm and sincere atmosphere, beautiful place. We had a huge brunch and really enjoyed it. They had also á la carte after 15 p.m., but we didn't get to try it this time.

In Piran, there's a restaurant near the sea that's a true surprise! There used to be almost none vegan options in Piran, but now it's different. This restaurant offers lots of delicious vegan food.

Wonderful brunch experience - Edit
The hosts are so sweet and most everything is homemade with love and attention to detail. For 17 Euro per person you can eat as much as you like and most of it is vegan. The spread was delicious and the specially created drinks quite impressive and inexpensive as well. We even got three flavors of ice cream to share as a free sample.

we were only able to try the Ice cream, which was the best we ever had. had to try three flavours each because of the great variety. amarena and Malaga took us right back to our childhood, it had been decades since we were able to eat these former favourites. apart from those classics they also have more modern Sorbets such as lavendel and lemon or pomegranate, which Taste great as well. the pistacchio as well was not only great as gar as vegan Ice cream goes, but the best i have ever tasted.

I was really hyped up by the reviews and unfortunately disappointed when we went for brunch. The place looks nice and I liked the concept of fresh prepared food with good and local ingredients and the homemade bread was also really nice though. Unfortunately the vegan table was not exciting. There were only 2 salads (millet, green) which missed a bit flavour, some grilled veggies, polenta, an apple and choco cake (nice but i was aiming for something savoury). There was no vegan cheese, no spread to put on the bread, no yoghurt, no pancakes, no croissants, pizza etc. I was eating bread with salad and a slice of melone, what one can eat at every other place.. So I would definitely recommend to check it first before you seat, maybe it differs every day.

Very good food. Many vegan choices. They have all sorts of vegan jams, spreads, home made bread, plant milk, vegan pizza, vegan cheese, etc. Most of vegetables and fruit are from there garden. Super nice and friendly staff. The restaurant is located in a very impresive old building. Kids and dog friendly. We highly recommend to visit the place.

Thank you Art Cafe for a lovely brunch. Lots of vegan options and all vegetarian. All veg grown on the owners’ small holding. A little gift of jam as we left. Thank you. I had the homemade baked beans, chocolate cake with cherries, scrambled tofu, veggies, black rice (delicious). You can get vegan food in Piran restaurants but not much protein and cooked on the grill with…whatever went last!

The food is organically grown in their garden, it's delicious but little variety. The tea was cold, but the decaf coffee was warm (they're both included in the price). A whole table is dedicated to vegan food, a big plus. The staff was friendly and gave a gift at the end of the meal (homemade jam).

Good food, display could be improved - Edit
They had tofu scramble, vegan sausages and cheese, pancakes and cake - everything was cold though. They put everything on plates and place them on one table without any heating. Also, i went there at 10:30 and there wasnt much left from the vegan stuff, they also didnt put anything new there. I would still defenitely recommend it since it is a nice location and the quality of the food (especially the pancakes) is really good! Also the service is really good and the owners are so so nice! They even gave us a gift from their store, some fresh homemade jam. Right now they're doing some renovation work and i'll definitely come back to see the result!

Cute fully veggie family run business. Even though the place is undergoing refurbishment (due to be finished in June 2023), the owners still let me in and their mum made me a delicious vegan plate, pear juice, bread with homemade jam, homemade roasted pepper spread, vegan cheese, and an incredible vegan chocolate cake- and all just for €15! The owners were incredibly friendly & it’s clear they’re passionate about their business. One of the owners is vegan so they separate eggs & dairy from the vegan ingredients. The restaurant sounds like it’ll be beautiful once it’s completed with a sea view, vegan ice cream, vegan fast food & spiritual retreats. I’ll have to come back!
