Delicious! - Edit
A great vibe, plenty of space inside, and of course wonderful food! Burgers and nuggets were heavenly. Even though we were full we just had to try cookies and milkshakes too. 10/10 delicious!

Comfort food - Edit
I love Pingalas, it’s one of the only entirely vegan places in Vermont. They used to have eggplant bacon, which was awesome now they do a smoky carrot which is really good but I think my favorite is the mac & cheese crunch wrap. It’s just fun and good not probably the healthiest but it’s good.

Go to for vegan eats - Edit
I love that this is 100% vegan. Having moved from Portland, OR, with over 50 vegan eateries, Burlington has been a bit of a challenge for veg eating. They are in desperate need of more fine dining and specialty vegan eats here, but this food truck vibe is great to have. I don't have to put any more thought into the menu than how to choose from all the great options! I've eaten here twice already, and staff has consistently been wonderful, as has the food. Those crunchwraps are perfect! It's actually a good thing this place (both locations) is over 15 minutes from my house, otherwise I'd be eating there every day.

Rare vegan restaurant in Burlington! - Edit
Pingala is a staple of the vegan VT scene! I have eaten there many times, and I’ve enjoyed items like the brunchwrap supreme, the burgers and the Buffalo Mac Crunchwrap. Great walkable location near a lot of fun spots in Winooski.

Dog Friendly Cafe - Edit
I had lunch here during the winter and it was one of the few places that allowed my dog to sit with me inside. Food was great and the staff was friendly.

Our first time and I hope it won't be our last - Yum! - Edit
On November 3rd my husband and I visited Pingala and we loved it! We are so thankful to Happy Cow for helping us find vegan restaurants like this, especially when we are traveling. The food and smoothies were wonderful as was the vibe in the restaurant as well as the staff. If we were local, we would certainly be regulars.

LOVE this place, including for a personalized BIRTHDAY CAKE - Edit
Love this place for food - it's deliciously decadent, not to be missed. Recently ordered a 1/2-sheet cake for my boyfriend's 60th birthday bash - it was AMAZING, totally sinfully sweet (but not too sweet!) I had asked for a cake that non-vegans would love, and not even know that it was vegan, and that's exactly what we got - a professionally-decorated masterpiece of a cake, we had 40 people at the party but it would have easily served up to 50, it was fantastic, vanilla cake with a berry filling and buttercream frosting (vegan of course). I have another birthday celebration coming up and will definitely be ordering another one of these cakes again. It was easy and smooth communicating with the baker.

Best takeout near BTV - Edit
Our favorite vegan spot in the Burlington area. Ideal for takeout as the restaurant is small. Our favorites are the crunch wrap and fresh spring rolls. Also, great coffee and tea drinks!

Slatheringly Savory - Edit
You can’t beat the Pingala Cafe for pure vibe. From the view of the Winooski river falls with its juxtaposed gentrified factories and bubble lettered graffiti (the best seat in the house is the one in front of this view and behind the triangular table you must squeeze past to reach), to the interior pics of guitar legends Prince and Hendrix and colorfully eclectic walls (a reflection of the colorfully eclectic menu). For my Sunday morning starter I default to the Dirty Chai smoothie with its invigorating shot of cinnamon. And though I’ve tried multiple menu items over several visits, all delicious, at this point I’d have to say my favorite meal is the Buddha Boi—a savory melange of warm roasted carrots and broccoli, pickled veggies, full bodied brown rice, and greens all slathered (featured in much of its fare, slathering is something Pingala does best) in an amazingly tasty peanut sauce. Not only is this some of the most original and flavorful food in the state, but it’s also totally vegan. The Pingala vibe, from climate to cuisine, will knock your socks off.

Great spot! - Edit
I was happy to find an all vegan restaurant with creative options. The banh mi dawg was good (although I was not expecting the carrot flavor), as well as the spring rolls. The portions were pretty small for the price.
