Subpar food, miserable owner - Edit
We were craving MidEastern (preferably Turkish/Syrian-Leb/Persian cuisines), and while we found this place, it was subpar at best. It was more Arabian meets Indian. Foods you expect from the Fertile Crescent were either not on the menu or a bland, strange version of them. Hummus was off, baba ghanouj was flavorless, and labneh was forgettable. The bread offered here is naan, listed as pita. The lentil soup had hardly any lentils, and was mostly a red broth-like soup. The lamb and chicken dishes were overcooked and dried out.
Read moreTabouli: 2 (not even close to looking or tasting like tabouleh)
Olive salad: 2
Miza: 1
Naan (listed as pita): 4 (best thing here, sadly)
Kofta: 2 (meat was hard as a rock, dried/tired)
Lamb mandi: 4 (best dish here)
Lamb kabobs and rice: 2 (overcooked, tired meat)
The worst part: the heavy-set owner, who was obnoxiously rude to all female patrons, but above all his female staff. They were the reason we decided to stay in the empty restaurant, even after two Korean locals warned us about this spot. Despite their efforts, we wanted to support and try something different. When I noticed how scared and nervous the female staff looked around this creature, I grew angry. Shortly thereafter when I overheard him passive aggressively sneering at a patron waiting on her guests, I was disgusted. He's a poor representation of the Middle East in every way.
It seems many other reviewers noted his uncouth behavior; it's a shame I didn't see those reviews until after having witnessed it in person. $135 for mediocre Bedouin/Indian food... not fresh Middle Eastern food. We get fresh food and better cuisine at the Four Seasons. This was a waste of time, money and patience. He deserved none.

The beat Tabbouleh salad! And nice atmosphere - Edit
Several vegan options like well known hummus, falafel, and tabbouleh salad. I loved they played exotic music which matches well. Will try more other vegan dishes!

Great dishes - Edit
We had the sides platter and replaced the non-vegan side for an additional hummus. The hummus here is very creamy. Dolmas were very delicious but a different style than I've had before, i recommend them! For me the falafel was just okay but friends really enjoyed. Salad was super good. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Good food ! - Edit
Friendly people ! The place can be packed and might need some waiting but it’s worth it ! There are few veg options such as falafel, hummus, za’taar pizza, lentil soup, lavash and vegetable biryani .. I have visited this place multiple times and have tried all the mentioned dishes .. can’t complain about anything . Good food !
