Meh it’s alright - Edit
I opted for the vegan breakfast wrap. Their alternative for eggs is quinoa, which was alright. All in all a little dry, could have been made better by a little more avocado in it. Potatoes were delicious. Service was typical semi-surly expensive coffee shop vibe. Outdoor seating was too sunny first thing in the morning.

Best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had! - Edit
It is weirdly hard to find all-vegetarian/vegan restaurants in the East Bay, (as opposed to v options at omnivore restaurants) and I was so grateful to find this one thanks to Happy Cow! I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich, which came on fresh crusty bread and was filled with cheddar and goat cheese, with a delicious red-pepper sauce that I dipped it in (not sure if that's what the sauce was for, but it sure tasted good). They have a ton of vegan options, too.
Read moreRight now they seem to be set up just for very COVID-safe dining: take-out, or sitting at one of a few small outdoor tables (where you can order with a QR code without even going inside).
The man who answered the phone and then later took my order in person was super-nice and appropriately enthusiastic about his restaurant. I'll be back, the next time I'm in Oakland!

A nice vegetarian place, welcoming for vegans too. My non-vegan family members gave very high marks to the avocado toast with burrata!

Fantastic Coffee and breakfast/lunch menu - Edit
Coffee and snacks were great, the service was warm and friendly. there are tables outside to sit and eat. Very safe during Covid from contactless ordering and service. the coffee options for Vegans was exceptional.
