Only tried the enchilada and it was perfect. Potato-filled (such a flavorful option) with yummy plate of beans and rice. Excellent!
Read moreOnly downside was the lack of a mild salsa option. Salsa with enchilada and salsa with chips were both medium/hot which they said was their mildest option. Took away from an otherwise perfect meal.

Read moreI got to try a lot of food here and was so pleased with every bite, but my favorite was for sure the quesadilla grande (one of us might have ordered a few more to go…)
The staff was nice and the food came out very fast. Each plate came with more food than expected as well so the price was definitely worth it.
March 2025:
I was worried this place wouldn’t hold up to my memories but boy did it. This place is awesome. I don’t really know what else to say other than this has got to be my favorite restaurant.

The food was phenomenal. The chiliquiles torta was divine. Chimichanga and Burrito were both fantastic, but the service was out of this world. Highly recommend the horchata as well.

The Nachos Locos is very Locos. It was very tasty and the portion was good for two people. The quesabirria was also delicious. The employees are very friendly but the music was a little bit too loud.

Really tasty! We picked up a takeout order and took it back to our hotel to eat. The Asada fries are insanely delicious! The portion sizes are very generous. The Asada crumbs and toppings on the fries were so good. We also got a quesadilla and a side of beans. The beans were so creamy.

Absolutely delicious food packed with flavor! So many dishes to choose from, it was hard to decide. This was my first time trying authentic Mexican food, and I want more! The portions are huge, I felt full for most of the day. If I’m ever in Chicago again, I’d love to come back and try more dishes!

Amazging Vegan Only Experience - Edit
This is a nice informal vegan only restaurant with very pleasant friendly staff. It has a large menu. We chose the Nachos Locos and the Street Style Elote "Corn" for starters, and the Mushroom Chimichurri Taco and the Carnitas Taco for mains. They came pretty fast. All were delicious. And the portions were large also. In hindsight we should have had only one starter for the two of us.

This was such a great place to visit for a fully plant-based meal - the food was excellent and very filling, service was friendly and very quick. The margaritas were fab! I'd definitely recommend it.

Read moreFirst nite me n my partner both had chimichangas and shared gauc and corn chips. All delicious. Very filling.
The second nite my parter had a burrito (good but not as huge or as tasty as the chimichanga) and I had a Mexi burger which was huge! Burger itself very big n tasty a little bit spicy, huge portion of tasty fries too. Great, friendly service.
No air con so gets hot at the back of restaurant.

There’s a variety of items veganized that you don’t normally find at other Mexican restaurants. We got the Quesa asada tacos and the pambazo/torta with chorizo along with a couple of Micheladas..ALL OF IT VEGAN!

100% vegan food incl the cheese and sour cream made in house. I had the Chimichanga and my wife the Mex-Burger and fries. Big portions, which were delicious. The fries were the best I’ve had. The Victoria beer with lime is recommended too. It was a hot day and the restaurant didn’t really offer any respite from the heat. But the food and service were excellent and I’d recommend seeking it out.

All vegan taqueria with a variety of tacos, entrees, and apps. The cauliflower ceviche was pretty good but could use a bit more lime.
Read moreTacos ranked in order of preference from highest to lowest: Baja, soya Al pastor, barbacoa, mushrooms chimichurri, carnitas, asada.
All of the tacos had great flavor except the asada, which was surprising since they said it’s one of their most popular. It tasted like pure impossible burger meat, nothing like asada. The only one we didn’t bother to finish.
Best was the Baja which had battered fried avocado and slaw. Great salsa on all of them.

I discovered this amazing Taqueria on Uber Eats my first night in Chicago. The taco was one of the best I've ever had. Unfortunately, the nachos were very soggy by the time I got them delivered, but the flavors were excellent. Next time I'm in Chicago and I have more time, this place will be on my list of places to eat!

Went for dinner with two non-vegans. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and meals. All of us were raving about everything we ate. I only regret not leaving room for dessert. The food, service, and ambiance were all excellent. It will be a “must visit” from now on when I’m in Chicago.
