The second-best place in hlsk - Edit
I love this place and it’s my to-go when inviting friends or going for a date. The main reason is of course the food. Bit the space is cute as well- when it is summer the terrace outside is a perfect place, when it is winter - the second floor (seating on the floor without shoes) becomes extra cozy and comfy for chilling.

Lunch buffet for hungry people - Edit
If I am really hungry and it’s around noon I would go to Peace Kitchen right next to Sörnäinen metro station as it has lots of tasty dishes on an open buffet. It always includes rice, several main dishes (as noodles with fried veggies and protein, mixed protein in curry etc.), salad, dessert, tea, coffe and cold drink. Price for all of this is really good. Go and support good vegan places near you!

Went to this lovely restaurant to eat their lunch buffet menu. The food was delicious and filling! Especially the lunch buffet is very budjet friendly, would recommend. Even the person I went there with, who isn’t vegan, loved the flavours.

My main dish Tan tan wen was full of flavours, thick and creamy soup. Noodles were perfect and the protein exquisite. I love vegetables and this dish had a lot of them.

Bit confused by the high reviews - was quite disappointed by this place. The place is a bit rundown and unclean - almost seemed like it was on the verge of going out of business. I went for lunch and everything was crammed into a tiny buffet cart in the corner with ill-fitting lids - felt a little unsanitary and put me off quite a bit. Food itself seems pretty good in a vacuum but I was as stated put off by the above. Maybe better for dinner or take out

The food is absolutely excellent. You can choose from 4 levels of spiciness and they will ask you whether you want coriander or not. Word of warning, the Thai Spicy option is H O T. Friendly, English-speaking staff. Bring your plates back to the kitchen to get a piece of vegan candy.

I always get lunch at Peace Kitchen when I have the opportunity. They always have at least one soup I like, multiple protein options, some salad, cooked vegetables.

Went to have a brunch here on a wintery weekday. The place itself is tiny with very few tables, so it might be worth booking a table. The surroundings are very basic but homely - the food is super tasty and fragrant, and the lunch buffet is only €13. Went in for seconds too. We got there at opening time at 11am and it was already getting busy, so if you’re coming for lunch, you might not get a table.

This place makes a variety of noodle and rice dishes. The noodle dishes are all kinds of soups in the style of several different Asian cuisines. The portions are very large and they add a lot of different kinds of vegan proteins. Very tasty though. The place is quite small, but charming, you order at the bar and the staff is very nice. Only problem was that the place could be a little tidier and cleaner, there was some water on our table when we arrived.

I had the lunch buffet, it was really delicious! There was rice, noodles, curry, wok veggies and salad. It was so good I forgot to take any pictures. The lunch only cost 12.70€ too. Highly recommend!

It’s the 2nd location for the most loved vegan restaurant in HEL called THAI VEGAN KITCHEN. Has now FULLY NEW indoor seating area and AMAZING TERRACE ✨☀️🍲✨ It’s insanely good💖 My fav meals are BEYOND MEAT PAD KEE MAO (meaty chili thai basil noodle, not in the menu yet), BOAT NOODLE SOUP, LAAB with tofu, NAM TOK MUU, KHAAU SOI (coconut noodle soup). The place so cute and relaxed plus the owner and the staff is sooo friendly 🥲💖 Prices are moderate and they are promoting animal rights! I’m beyond happy that they opened this place in the area✨🥲🥰🙏✨
