nice breakfast bagel

i got a pesto something bagel with vegan egg and cheese, avocado, and sundried tomato pesto - it was really good and a combo i'll probably make for myself in the future. a bit of a shame to have to add so much to the price to get the vegan options though...

Pros: able to add vegan options

Cons: have to pay extra to add vegan options

Spicy Tempeh Bagel

This cafe chain location surprised me with a well made bagel. We had the spicy tempeh bagel which came with a nice selection of Asian flavors.

Pros: Delicious bagel

Delicious bagels

We stopped here (the Brighton location which wasn't listed) on a road trip and tried two of the vegan breakfast sandwiches- the vegan tequila sunrise with tofu bacon and the tempeh sausage, just egg, & cheese...both great but we really enjoyed the tofu one. The diablo cream cheese was really good! They were toasted but the vegan cheese slices were cold so if you like melty cheese you might need to specify. Great coffee, too!

Pros: Super fresh homemade bagels , Good coffee, Decent amount of vegan options for sandwiches

Cons: Cold cheese slices on sandwiches

Lovely coffee shop

Went to Pavement located inside the Harvard University visitor centre. Had almond and oat milk available, and a vegan banana muffin. Might have had other options but didn’t take note of those. Muffin was very good, best I’ve ever had probably. Ask for oat milk as only almond milk is out on the side but they do have it. Plant milks are free. 25 cent discount for bringing my own coffee cup.

Pros: Free plant mills for hot drinks, Discount for bringing reusable cup , Reasonably priced and friendly staff

Cons: Vegan muffin not separated from non-vegan cakes

Love their bagel with veggies.

They make a fabulous spicy tofu spread. I always get a jalapeño bagel with spicy tofu spread & jalapeños with sprouts as veggie toppings.

Vegan breakfast sandwiches!

Love that they offer vegan cream cheese. My go-to is the vegan tequila sandwich. The vegan banana muffin is also good. They have oat, soy and almond milk for coffee.

Great food and great plant based milk alternatives

Such great vegan sandwiches! This location only has 2 vegan sandwiches whereas I believe a couple of the other locations has 3. The sandwiches are sooo tasty, my favorite is the Killer Tofu!! Also, a huge plus that they offer oat milk as well!!!

Pros: Oat milk, Vegan sandwiches, Vegan cream cheese

Good breakfast spot for vegans!

I'm surprised this hasn't been reviewed yet!

Pavement has been my favorite breakfast spot for a quick bite on my morning commute. [not any particular location btw, I've had similar experiences at each spot]. They have 2 types of nondairy cream cheese for your bagels (vegan), they have vegan sandwiches (tofu and tempeh based), and they have always had at least one kind of vegan confection.

Also, they label their vegan stuff. Overall, worth checking out!

P.S. I recommend the Vegan Tequila sandwich (pretend it's not an enormous amount of calories!)
