Nice Lunch

We had a nice Pasta for lunch, they have 3 labeled vegan pastas and one vegan pizza (marinara without cheese), and the food was really good

Pros: 3-4 Clearly marked Vegan options, very tasty

Cons: Huge room but not many guests

No clearly marked vegan options on menu, staff has no idea of vegan

I am not sure what this joint is doing on HC, but it was hands down worst lunch we ever had in an HC-listed place. There are no signs of some option being vegan-friendly in the menu and their staff has no idea what veganism is. Finally we could negotiate some meals, but they tasted below average (and quite bad for Rome), while the prices were above average. The service was mediocre. The whole cafe looks like a typical tourist trap.

Cons: Non-vegan-friendly, Price, Taste

Only if you're REALLY hungry

This place has about 100 tables, but was nearly deserted when we turned up late. Even though it was off season, I can understand why. The veggie/vegan options are very limited, but it was the quality of the food which stood out, and not in a good way.

The Papardelle al funghi was heavy on the papardelle, which stuck together, perhaps because the little sauce there was had retreated to the bottom of the bowl. The veggie lasagne was also extremely bland.

The staff were friendly enough, but given the choice of restaurants in the centre of Rome, this wouldn't make the top 100.

Cons: Limited vegan and veggie choices, Poor quality food

Plain food

A lot of pasta dishes but only a fraction is vegan and vegetarian. It isn't marked but the menu is also in english. I ordered a ragu of vegetables and it was plain and lacked seasoning. I also ate a brushetta wich also was plain. Overall okay, you get saturated but if you are looking for some exitement you have to go to another place.

Pros: Many tables, Friendly staff

Friendly staff but could use some vegan improvement

My meal was very tasty, but I found it difficult that nothing was marked as vegan. The first waitress just showed me a lot of veggie options, but she clearly didn't know what vegan is. An other waitress helped me very Good and I had a Nice pasta with tomato and Good seasoning. The staff was very friendly and made conversation with us.

Pros: Good pasta in big portions , A lot of room , Friendly staff

Cons: Nothing marked as vegan, Not everyone is informed on veganism

A nice restaurant with good food.

Although not completely vegan and the vegan dishes are not marked ,but it easy to understand what vegan.

Pros: Smiling waitress who answered our questions., A cozy atmosphere despite all the people.

Cons: There are only a few vegan options.

shouldn't be on this app

This restaurant doesn't label any of its vegan options. I asked waiter who didn't speak much English and he didn't know what it was - pointed out egg pasta as vegan option before I asked what didn't have egg in it. I almost walked out but needed water, air conditioning, and wifi. I'm not entirely sure my meal was vegan, which is a terrible feeling.

This restaurant should be removed. It's simply not vegan friendly.

I came because I wanted some typical Italian food, ordered the tomato basil pasta; it was a large serving with literally : 4 pieces of basil. I normally rank restaurants very highly and have never given below 3 stars until now. Definitely don't come here.

Lovely Meal!

I was looking for a place where I could eat some typical pasta that could be vegan and tasty! I found this on the Happy Cow app and I decided to try.
The place is huge but it was very calm that day. It's easier to have a simple but nice vegan meal in rome, because they have typical dishes like pasta with tomato sauce.
I found this place very nice. The price was very reasonable and I love the gnocchi! It was spicy (I chose to be like that) and it was so much food it looked like for 2 persons instead of 1.
I really enjoyed this meal!

Pros: Lovely Food, Price
