We thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service here. Our favorites were the satay in peanut sauce, and the Indonesian fried rice dish. The drinks and dessert were also very tasty.

Clean looking interior design with a modern, almost instagrammable look. The food was delicious and the mock meats tasted uniquely amazing. The meat texture was so realistic I had some stuck between my teeth afterwards!

A friend and I ate here for the first (and certainly not last) time today and we loved it! Incredibly friendly owners and staff made ordering from their large menu easy, and the dishes were absolutely delicious! Highly recommended.

It’s a restaurant with family style dishes, so most of them are meant to be shared, and quite large. The food was very tasty, the hotter hot sauce was something else and overall the place had a great vibe, friendly staff, and very tasty food.

Though not all menu items travel well and can be ordered for takeout, there is ample selection. The spicy Singapore Noodles were a highlight as was the “chicken” nugget-type dish. Looking forward to trying the soups in-house.

Read moreAll their food is served family style for sharing so be prepared for larger portions! And only the Nasi Goreng has rice the rest of the dishes you have to order a side of rice.
We grabbed the roti starter, chili tofu and rendang. Everything was awesome and super delicious 👏🏼
I will just point out that a lot of the food is spicy whether it’s indicated on the menu or not so be prepared 🔥

So happy Padmanadi opened a location in Calgary. Make sure you make reservations, there’s not many tables and it’s busy. Very attentive staff, almost too attentive. Being vegan, there’s lots of excellent choices.

The Wonton Soup! 👌 - Edit
Good experience where we share plates and can taste a lot of things! The wonton soup is to die for 🍲. We also had their mango panna cotta desert, which was delicious. It was good to sit in a restaurant where the music isn’t too loud so that you can hear the people you’re with. Congrats and all the best for the grand opening on September 15th!

To say that I was excited for a Padmanadi in Calgary is a massive understatement. And my first order did not disappoint! We ordered 8 dishes that we were very familiar with, having had them multiple times in Edmonton and they all had the same amazing taste! You cannot go wrong with any dish at Padmanadi but be sure to get ginger beef and roti canai! Thank you Padmanadi team for bringing the deliciousness to us Calgarians!
