Pranzo ottimo - Edit
Pranzo ottimo, abbiamo mangiato bene personalmente ho preso un piatto di assassina al sugo e patate al forno ma c'erano tante altre cose da poter mangiare completamente vegane, ristorante carino e non turistico

Assesina - Edit
Assesina was delicious and they have an ingredients booklet for all their dishes and had a few vegan ones too.

Limited vegan options - Edit
Found none of the options mentioned by previous reviews save for the assassina, which was very good.

Great authentic puglian cuisine - Edit
Really nice restaurant. Vegan options are not labeled, but the Assassina with turnips and fava bean with ciquoree are vegan!

Language barrier led to mistakes - Edit
I really wanted to like this place. It's charming and everyone was so friendly. My Italian is limited to phrases and they had an English menu that we ordered from, so I thought that would be ok. But the wrong dishes came out and I tried asking for clarification on how things were prepared but no one was able to answer. I would suggest for anyone else who isn't fluent in Italian to still order from the Italian menu to avoid misunderstandings.

Great puglesian food - Edit
Even though the vegan options and not clearly labeled, the waitress knew everything and explained to us the traditional food of the region and what we can try and eat without eating animal products.
Read moreI got myself a plate of fried spaghetti - the assassina style. It was served with turnips, which is a vegetable, which is regional and seasonal. It tasted really really great and I would really recommend it.
We sat on the gallery and the wooden and twisted house gave a warm feeling and a nice ambience.
Pros: Traditional food, Seasonal and regional vegetable
