Discrimination should not be supported - Edit
As delicious as the ramen may be – I cannot recommend this place. The prices are 2–3 times higher than regular ramen, and frankly, I’m tired of vegans and vegetarians always having to pay extra. But what’s even more concerning: this restaurant openly discriminates and explicitly excludes Japanese customers. There is a sign at the entrance stating this, and several Google reviews confirm that they only welcome foreign customers – likely because they assume they can charge them more. Discrimination of any kind should not be supported. Sorry.

Tried Osaka Engine Ramen and loved it! The food was incredibly tasty, the interior had a cool, cozy vibe, and the staff were super friendly. Prices are a bit higher than average, but honestly, totally worth it for the quality. Would happily go again!

I guess all their reviews are on Google maps. My wife knew of this place on her Instagram - for a vegan, this is one of the best places we have been after 10 days in Japan.

If you ever eat a better vegan ramen than this, I simply don't believe you haha.

- the atmosphere. Wow! I won't spoil it, enjoy the surprise. It's stunning.
- the staff. Service was exceptional. You received an apron (good for sloppy eaters like me...) and they speak English and chat with you while you are waiting - this really added to the experience for us. Warm, friendly and accommodating with lots of time for you
- freebie! We were given some of their local sake to try (never seen such big bottles!!!).
- free origami lesson!
Overall - superb for a vegan. This place will do incredibly well.
HappyCow won't enable five star ratings, but this definitely gets that. Amazing. To be clear - the vegan options are fully vegan.

Really chilled atmosphere modern but also feels really authentic
The ramen was huge and stunning - I had the most recommended - zesty with tofu - but swapped out lard for rice oil
Totally delicious but warning it packs a punch 🥵
Would come again, and great to find somewhere which really takes allergies seriously and has a menu which is very clear and has meat too so my partner is happy
Also they do gluten free beer if you are gluten free
