So happy to find a pizza place with multiple vegan options right on the menu. When I visited, there was a vegan cheese, margarita, Mr. Scratch (sausage, pepper, onion), and mushroom. The cheese was fantastic - a mix of miyokos and follow your heart - it wasn't too sticky like vegan cheese can be. Maybe a little pricey, but worth it. They also had a number of vegan appetizers and a sandwich that could be made vegan. Ample seating inside and on a patio

Atmosphere was great. Pizza was very good, fresh and hot. Great beer selection. Other vegan options available and vegan items were not an afterthought. Nice outdoor seating and a whole indoor-outdoor vibe

The best vegan pizza I’ve had in Ohio - Edit
They have four vegan versions of their menu pizzas using a cashew-based cheese, or you can upgrade to vegan mozzarella if you prefer. I found the house cheese to be very good. The pizza (Mr Scratch) had vegan sausage and reheated very well at home. There’s a rotating beer list of 20 taps plus wine & mixed drinks. I was told by a gluten-free family member the GF crust was the best they’d ever had, if you need a GF crust also. Highly recommended

I love that Old Scratch has so many vegan options! Starters, salads, vegan pizzas, they got it! My favorite is the veg sandwich (ask for no feta), but the pizzas are all delicious! Vegan Mr. Scratch pizza is our go-to. If you decide on a salad, the lemon-tahini dressing is vegan! I love the patio and the style of the downtown location.

They have multiple vegan pizza options, and the Olympus Salad is vegan if you remove the feta. Very quick turnaround for pickup too. The Vegan Eliot is great if you want a classic cheese pizza.

A local Dayton gem, it’s a must-visit if you’re in the area. Vegan pizza done right just hits different! (ya feel me??) The vegan options are clearly listed on their in-house menu, although not advertised on their website. They have Miyoko’s vegan mozz and their own house-made vegan sausage (get it!! It’s phenomenal!!) I tried the vegan “Mr. Scratch” pizza and it was so good, I was left second-guessing if it’s really vegan… in a v. good way..

They’re well known for their excellent selection of beers on tap. Service is friendly and efficient. Good vibes, good food, good people - Old Scratch is a Dayton MUST.

Wow. They have a pretty amazing vegan pizza menu, with impossible sausage and miyoko’s mozzarella available as options! And the vegan Roasted Cauliflower is amazing! Hands down, one of the best vegan pizzas I’ve ever had!
