Fabulous lemon tart, but…

Their lemon tart is absolutely worth the visit, but the pastel de nata was the worst we’ve had in the city. We’re so sorry to say that, but all the other vegan ones we’ve had were far better. The pastry wasnt right, the custard wasnt right… I’d come back for another lemon tart though. 😊

Great vegan pastel de nata!

Loved the sour dough bread, as well as the classic pastel de nata.
The quiche we didn‘t like this much, but everything else was delicious!

All vegan and delicious

We went there for breakfast and they had all vegan options. We tried the pastel de nata and we loved them. Also the staff was super cute and it’s located in a really nice square.

Pros: All vegan , Cute staff and position , Lots of options

Amazing

Really good, had a pastel de nata! Croissant and cruffin❤️
Recommend arriving early if you want something special, I was there right before 10 o’clock and the pan au chocolate was finished and pastel de natas almost done.

Fabulous bakery - inexpensive, high quality

Got a chocolate croissant, orange juice (freshly squeezed) and a pastel de nata and cookie takeaway. Everything was A , in particular, best vegan pastel de nata I have tried ! Highly recommended! You won’t be disappointed!

Friendly vegan bakery

Range of savoury and sweet options. We had bean soup, pizza and chocolate cookies. Limited seating (outside on the pavement) but pleasant with the trees.

Cosy

Cosy and quiet place. I’ve had cappuccino with oat milk and cinnamon roll which unfortunately was rather tasteless but I don’t eat a lot of vegan pastries so maybe for someone not used to dairy it would taste better. I liked the surroundings

Cosy little cafe

Odete bakery is very cute and the staff is very kind. I tried the croissant brioche and liked it very much! I was unlucky that it was raining, so I could not sit at the cafe as all seats are outside.

Lovely little bakery

This place was really lovely - with a nice outside space to eat, and tasty fresh food! The pastries were great (especially the cinnamon rolls and pain au chocolates) and we loved the toasted sandwiches too. They have quite good veganpastel de nata though I think I’ve had better in other places in Porto (eg Kind Kitchen). HOWEVER - this place is absolutely worth visiting for breakfast and lunch, and everything else was just delightful!!

Pros: The cinamon buns, The toasted sandwiches , The sourdough

Fantastic food

Found this on our 1st day in Porto & went back every day to either this one or their other cafe in Porto. We loved the pastel de nata & the quiche was gorgeous. We also had pain au chocolat & croissants which were also great. Also, the sandwich on sourdough with houmous, olives, tomato, tofu, salad was lovely & the toasted mushroom, pesto & rocket was too. Staff were all very friendly. Great place.

Lovely place and food!

We had the mediterranean sandwich, a quiche and two pasta de natas. The sandwich was good, especially the tofu ricotta and the fresh sour dough and the quiche was really good, warm, with a creamy filling including interesting green vegetables. The pasta de nata was good, but we don't have a comparison yet as it was the first one we tried.
The staff was very friendly. The barista even gave us extra cinnamon rolls for free, we're looking forward to eating them later! The space is very small inside, but one sits closely (behind glass) next to the baker preparing the next baked good, which was great to watch.
Update: The cinnamon rolls were amazing! Yum!
