Cute! - Edit
Cute cafe with really tasty coffee flights. Food was somewhat underwhelming. Pumpkin toast was kinda bland but the tater tots were absolute fire. I've heard some of the dishes are good so maybe they're a little hit or miss with that

Cons: Some food is bland

a great spot that’s close to o’hare airport, it was a very bustling environment on the weekend and there were so many amazing sounding options, i struggled to choose just a couple options. the brekky sandwich on ciabatta and the maple forest frappe were great!

super enjoyable, great food & vibe - Edit
love that they are a fully vegetarian cafe, with the majority of their menu either vegan or can be made vegan, a clearly labelled menu with lots of tasty options, and a very homey and welcoming place!

Cute spot, close to the beaten path - Edit
Been looking for independent coffee/food options on my 2-3 times a week commute from Evanston to Naperville and saw a review for this pop by my feed the other day… it was a short detour and the neighborhood was cute. Not sure I had been thru this part of Norwood park.
Read moreCafe clean and had lots of options.
Forgot to notice what kind of coffee they brew but the black coffee was pretty solid. Appreciate all the vegan options and convenience items.
The veganized breakfast sandwich was fine, yet predictable (just egg, vegan sausage, < cheese/cream cheese or avocado/guac?>)
It only added 4 min to my commute when taking that route, added to the rotation. Will update if material changes.
3.75 rounded up
Pros: Options , Clean, Parking was easy on a weekday morning

A bright, interesting café, worth a visit - Edit
I was in the area so I figured I would stop in and check this place out. It’s a very interesting café, with a lot going on. On the day I was here, they had drag queen storybook hour going on. The place was packed. There were a lot of different pastries and treats to choose from that were vegan, but I ended up getting a Topo Chico and a vegan Hershey bar. I haven’t had a Hershey bar in many many years. Honestly, it’ll be many many years more until the next one. Lol. I guess I’m just not a Hershey’s fan. If I’m ever back up in the area, I’ll stop in and check out their food. This place is fun and interesting, but I don’t believe I would make the trip out to this area of town just to visit this restaurant.

The best! - Edit
It’s so cute and almost everything can be made vegan. Vegan pastries, vegan sandwiches, vegan waffles, vegan drinks, vegan cheese sticks in the fridge, vegan ice cream. They have it all!

Cute cafe! - Edit
Lots of space to work or hang or or have a conversation with a friend. Really cute theme and lots of vegan options! A bit pricey, though! My order of an oat milk specialty latte and a bagel with vegan cream cheese was $14.

I understand your comment, but I find solace that the price means more money to local businesses!

Queer owned cute and cozy local spot - Edit
I loved stumbling upon this place when I landed in Chicago. It’s only 15 minutes from O’Hare! My fall flavored latte was amazing and I really liked my vegan breakfast sandwich. It’s seems like nearly everything is vegan or can be made vegan. I wish they would make the switch and commit to it being a fully vegan spot but I loved this place nonetheless!

Great find, cute indie cafe! - Edit
October cafe has loads of vegan options, almost their whole food menu seems to be vegan (all is vegetarian), they had lots of vegan and gluten free treats like cookies, muffins, brownies. Oat, almond, and coconut milks available for teas and coffees. Cute and cozy spot, we stumbled upon it and was so pleasantly surprised. There's free wifi if you want to get some work done and they host different community events (e.g. in Dec they had cookie decorating and holiday karaoke).
