Hidden Gem - Edit
The food was so delicious! This is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. You walk through a market and then down an alley to find this place. Inside it’s green and beautiful! Absolutely loved it, tasty food and peaceful atmosphere!

Lots of vegan choices - Edit
They had a lot of vegan choices. Unfortunately the restaurant was completely empty, when I was there. That's a pity. I had a pain au chocolate, a vietnamese coffee and a small sandwich. This was just like a snack. English menu and person at the till spoke English too. It is a bit hidden, so make sure yku check the pictures from previous guest and take the address from Google, then you will find it.

Gorgeous restaurant! - Edit
What a beautiful place! We went for dinner and it was empty. Such a shame as the food was really good at very reasonable prices. It was a little hard to find cos it was tucked behind a market steal and up a little alley but worth the effort.
Read moreThe 'make your own' banh mi was tasty, and the beef stew was warming and lovely. The fried puffs were absolutely delicious with loads of herbs, and the steamed buns were good too.
We loaded up with pastries to take home, too.

FOOD & CHILL - Edit
Restaurant with a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. Not very easy to find because the entrance is hidden behind the market stalls. The food is very good and has genuine flavours. I recommend you go upstairs to eat. If you are in the area, definitely recommended!

Cool vibes and great pastries! - Edit
First off we found this place so difficult to find, Google maps took us down the wrong back street but we got got there in the end. It was super quiet and quite peaceful. The pastries were great but small and we could have had more. The dumplings were nice, very fake duck

5⭐️ for being plant-based
Read more3⭐️ for lack of desserts
On the O Plant-Based menus they have a cool selection of Madeleines, pistachio croissants, tarts and mousses, but had none of these when I visited. Which is the reason I trekked there!
This cafe is hard to find, down an alleyway with a lot of motorbikes and then a hidden paradise almost, lovely pebble front garden, benches downstairs and an upstairs too.
Had a latte (they also didn’t have the tiramisu one I wanted) and an apple Danish. Both fine, not mind-blowing.

Eat Here! - Edit
Before tracking your way to this delicious destination ensure you follow a seperate route from your standard map. This vegan haven is located down and alleyway and can be tricky to find, you will need to walk 50m or so into the old markets before you come to a yellow arch way entry, head to the back and seat yourself for a wonderful time. Staff are kind and attentive and food is fresh, delightful and filling. Worth the scavenger hunt that can be finding it

Tricky review - Edit
The setting and friendliness/helpfulness of the staff is a clear 5. Amazing serene setting. Reminds me a bit of Tony’s hemp corner at King’s Cross in days gone by. One minute you’re in the madness of pimps, pushers, sirens and stabbings then you go through the gate to the green oasis. Here there’s obviously non of that but you escape the hustle and bustle of district 1 down a small alley and you’re in this calm oasis. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Read moreThe food is mid at best. Probably just a 3. The crispy dumplings were soggy and tasted like they’d been microwaved rather than cooked in an oven. A bit like when you buy samosas from Asda and can’t wait the 12 minutes in the oven so you microwave for 30 seconds. Then you regret it as they’re soggy but edible.
Organisation was a definite 2 as 1 food showcase containing the baked goods and desserts was totally empty and another had 4 things in it despite them being open 3 hours. So the choice was the hot food menu only. We ordered 3 dishes. 2 came together after quite a wait then the 3rd was a good 20 minutes after and we needed to remind them.
So overall a 4 rating.

Worthy of a visit - Edit
Find the markets, then go down an alley; google maps will send you close by but not quite get you there. I followed a google reviewer's direction, otherwise I wouldn't have found it. And I'm glad I did!
Read moreI had the duck noodles (duck was amazing!) and a kaya bun. I had a proper kaya bun in Malaysia (egg) and this one was just as good!
