Great!

I went here for vegan lunch around 3pm. I love the decor and you will get free water and they clean the table after every customer. Washrooms are clean as well. I am giving them 5 stars even though I had to wait for a bit but to be honest I don't mind. I just felt a bit sorry because there was only one server for the full place. He was very good though had everything under control.

Food: I ordered the lunch plate (good deal!) for 18.95 you get extra lettuce leaves /(Pita), Hummus (the best I have ever eaten! super creamy and delicious!!!), salad, pickled cabbage, tahini, potatoes (loved them super crispy and hot!) and the cauliflower - if you order the Najib's Special (vegan!!!) like I did. This one to be honest could have been hotter - it was warm when it arrived.
I also added extra Baba Ganoush (4$) which was a generous and big portion. The pomegranate sirup was a good contrast on top. The Baba Ganoush could have been a bit better seasoned (maybe more garlic?) would not order again but I am glad I tried it. This place is good and I will return. Patio outside available as well. A drink happy hour with cheaper cocktails would be great as well as Falafel without cilantro... Would love to try them here but they are with cilantro
Thanks for this lovely meal - I was starving and so happy to left totally satisfied

Go here and not Gastown!

Pros: Friendly service , Outside , Lunch deal

Not where maps says it is!!

We couldn't find this place, it took us to another cafe with no vegan options at all. Had to go to Starbucks and eat seeds for breakfast instead.

Cons: Not where it says it is

Great food!

I had the Mjadra plate and it was delicious! Great quality food, many well identified vegan options, good service, nice decor and pretty sufficient quantities. A bit pricey, but I didn’t mind that much. Also very pleased with the vegan baklavas, they were tasty!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Quality food, Great service

Cons: Pricey for quantity

Mediocre

This puts the "m" in mediocre. It is a beautiful place, and the atmosphere is wonderful, which is what brought us in. Service is good too. But I did not eat a single thing there that was great, and much of it was mediocre or worse. You can do much, much better with middle eastern food.

Pros: Great atmosphere.

Cons: Food.

Yum! Yum! Yum!

This is a small location with a few small tables on the patio and more tables inside. The restaurant works closely with local producers. All food and beverages are made to order. All Vegan and Vegetarian options are clearly marked. Many vegetarian items may be modified to be vegan (usually just removing cheese). The Najib's Special (crispy cauliflower) is so good we almost ordered it for a meal in addition to eating it as an appetizer. Vegan desserts are available too. The coconut rice pudding is delicious.

Pros: Many Vegan Options, Vegan and Vegetarian options clearly marked

Cons: Small location - may be crowded at busy times

Awful & overpriced

Food was oily, very expensive & for a lebanese restaurant the fattoush didn't have all the things it would normally have. Just about 30 olives & too much dressing. Do not recommend.

I love Nuba. They have great vegan and gluten free options and the staff are always so accommodating and sweet. This little cafe style place is the first location I tried and it is lovely. Great prices too!
