Options végétariennes et accueil chaleureux - Edit
Nopal est une très bonne adresse à Chartres pour les amateurs de cuisine mexicaine qui veulent manger végétarien. Il y a au moins une option végétarienne dans chaque catégorie du menu, les assiettes sont copieuses, bien présentées et pleines de saveurs. L'ambiance est agréable et le service est toujours impeccable. C'est un endroit convivial pour les familles : lorsque nous venons avec des enfants, ils proposent des coloriages pour les occuper, ce qui est un vrai plus.

Dans l'ensemble c'est un restaurant que je recommande volontiers à Chartres, aussi bien pour un repas en famille qu'entre amis. Le restaurant est très bien situé et à un bon équilibre qualité, quantité, prix.

Vegan options in Chartres are scarce, so this is a good restaurant for having a nice lunch or dinner.
Read moreVegan options are not marked on the menu but they have a few like the Tacos de Jardin, or a couple of appetizers. The staff also mentioned they can veganize other dishes like the avocado toasts, the quesadilla, or the sweet taco as dessert.
We got the tacos de jardin (made with corn tortillas) and they were tasty and filling (you choose a side from potatoes, rice or beans).
The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant and colorful.
Location is also perfect, right in the center of the old town.
Pros: nice food, good atmosphere, friendly service
Cons: not all vegan, no vegan desserts
