An Interesting Vietnamese Food - Edit
Needed a place quick for lunch as we had less than an hour to get food. We were able to order some food quickly. I got the Bánh xèo Nâm Chay. Some kind of Vietnamese crape with vegetables. The sauce was really good. The crape itself was okay but the vegetables must have made the crape get soft and was falling apart. It wasn’t my kind of flavors. It was okay. I also got it with rice paper, with the short amount of time, I couldn’t really utilize the rice paper as much. But a definitely unique experience. If I had more time to decide and more time to eat, I probably would have gone for the Pho since I love pho but knew we didn’t have the time. The sandwich looked good after I ordered my crape.

The place is spacious and the food was good. You order by your phone and pay at the counter. Pho could be a bit more flavourful and have more tofu instead of noodles but it’s just my preference 💪

Went for lunch. I love pho, and they are still so hard to find vegan in Japan!! This place makes a good vegan version. Could have a bit more flavour.

Die Kellnerin konnte leider kein Englisch , da wir das Brötchen ohne Chili wollten, mussten wir mit ihr reden und irgendwie kam es dann dazu, dass wir das nicht vegane Baguette bekommen haben. Zum ersten Mal seit Jahren Fleisch gegessen (gleich aussortiert als ich es erkannt habe 🤢). Der Rest vom Baguette war ok, aber absolut nicht vegan, weil auch Eier drin waren. Daher aufpassen beim bestellen

Not that easy to get something vegan in this area. The food was okay. I had the summer rolls (with mushrooms and eggplant inside) and the Bahn Mi (with tofu and eggplant). Nothing bad, but not really good. Little expensive.

Given it’s a chain that I’d not seen so far in my four weeks in Japan, I was very pleasantly surprised with how good (and cheap) the food was.
Read moreHad the bahn mi / pho lunchtime set for 1,400 yen. Both delicious. Plus you get free iced tea (I think). A big jug of something cold on the table that’s free and refreshing.
They have other vegan options on the menu. You order via an app that’s in English and there’s a section for ‘meat-free’ so it’s easy to navigate.
