Good food for reasonable prices

Located in Skratch Golf, really enjoyed the food and drink here. I had the Gado Gado and really enjoyed the sauce. My non-vegan friend enjoyed their option too. Would love to have more vegan options but would go back again.

Pros: Clearly labelled vegan choices, Delicious sauce

Cons: Not many vegan options

Lovely cafe with great coffee

Love the iced Kopi Susu (latte with palm sugar) Food options are tasty. Gado-Gado is a good portion size

A taste of Indonesia in Brum

After going to Indonesia last summer, I have been craving many of the foods that I got to try there. Ngopi is a cute little cafe that has several vegan dishes that fairly represented what I had in Indonesia. I had gado-gado (an Indonesian salad with a selection of boiled veg, tempeh and a peanut dipping sauce), stuffed tofu and bakwan (vegetable fritter). The food was very tasty, although service was slightly slow and a lot of their drink options contain dairy products (casein and condensed milk)

Pros: Cheap, Lovely atmosphere

Interesting coffee shop

I was put onto Ngopi by a friend who said it was a 'bit different' and she was right. Its the most chilled coffee shop in Birmingham. The staff are very friendly and super into their coffe. They also roast on site with the coffee roaster sat out on the floor of the shop which is cool. They have a few vegan options on the menu which are limited but not bad compared to the size of the menu. I recommend the bakwan.
