I don't really understand the hype about these Tayiaki. I mean it's cool that they're vegan by nature and the store seems very unique and historical but the Tayiaki seemed a little dull to me. Just simple dough with a little sweet in it and I waited in line for about 20 min. But maybe it is a matter of taste 😄

the best taiyaki i’ve ever had. it’s given to you all warm (more like hot, be careful not to burn your tongue by being impatient like i was), is thin and crispy and filled to the brim with the yummiest paste.

Vegan Taiyaki - Edit
Their taiyaki was not too sweet. It was ¥200(I remember when taiyakis used to be ¥100, but inflation I guess). The dough of the taiyaki was not too thick. It was good. I’m just happy that a vegan taiyaki shop exists in Tokyo.

Japanese traditional vegan sweets - Edit
Nezu no Taiyaki is one of Tokyo's most traditional Taiyaki shops situated in the Nezu Area. It is a fish shaped pancake (with flour and water only) filled with red bean paste, which is not that sweet. So crispy you can smell it from the other side of the street.
