Most delicious, satisfying vegan meal! - Edit
I am happy to be the first person to review this place as the food served here is freshly prepared and so delicious! I came prepared with my V card in Mongolian, but my server did not read Mongolian but found out he could read Hindi so produced V card in Hindi. He did speak English quite well but after my disastrous experience at Fellowes Coffee at Shangri La centre this morning ( see my one star review), I really wanted to make sure that veganism was understood. To be fair, three dishes were clearly marked vegan and from my experience I always order roti as know it is vegan despite a bit of a misunderstanding about ingredients, roti was vegan. I was given appetizers upon my arrival- Mongolian vegan crackers with two dips a spicy one and a mont one latter being vegan despite looking creamy.
Read moreAll dishes appealed but asked for server’s recommendation- aloo gobi without hesitation. I ordered half portion of it, half portion of plain rice and roti all of which was filling and delicious. I appreciated the server coming to check on me and how everything was. Also love the little red buzzer on each table to call the server.
The interior is simple and clean. The service friendly and personable. A great dining experience overall!. Highly recommended!
FYI server told me there are now 5 locations in Ulanbataar!
Pros: several vegan options clearly marked, friendly, personable service, good portions reasonably priced
