Great Food, Relaxed Atmosphere - Edit
Namaste India has quickly become one of my go-to spots in Bern. The food tastes homemade and full of heart. I especially enjoyed the paneer tikka and mango lassi. The atmosphere is calm, ideal for both casual meals and special occasions. It can get busy, so booking a table is a good idea. Service is attentive, and the portions are generous. Overall, a lovely dining experience.

This place is a hidden gem for anyone looking for plant-based Indian food. The vegan thali was amazing—full of variety and taste. The spices were balanced and not overpowering. I also appreciated the calm atmosphere and traditional decor. Friendly service added to the positive experience. A bit pricey, but understandable for the quality and location. Definitely going back for more dosas and lentil dishes!

Namaste India in Bern delivers a truly authentic Indian dining experience. The flavors are rich and aromatic, and there’s a great selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. I especially loved the dal makhani and fresh naan. The staff is friendly, and the ambiance is warm and welcoming. Service can be a bit slow during busy hours, but it’s worth the wait. A must-visit for Indian food lovers in Bern!

This restaurant offers no less than seven labelled vegan dishes plus three starters. The ones we tried so far were very taste as well, highly recommended. Note that there is another Namaste in the old town at the Neuengass-passage.

We had a good Sunday evening meal here and were happy that there were some veg south Indian dishes like dosa, idli and others, in addition to more common north Indian dishes. They have many veg*n dishes to choose from. They have a lunch buffet.
