Great vegan authentic Mexican food - Edit
Went for an early dinner at Na Tlali, which was a short walk from the Angel of Independence. The waitstaff were attentive and kind, although seemed to speak limited English.

- Quesadilla w/ potatoes: An interesting and unique version of a quesadilla. While my partner wasn’t a fan of this dish, I enjoyed the potato filling!
- Chilaquiles de mole encacahuatado: Was expecting a more typical mole. This wasn’t my favorite, as it ran dry and had an earthy taste.
- Tachos de cochinita rescatada: Comes with 2 tacos. Very good! Tasted like jackfruit in a rich sauce.
- Pastel de tres leches: Was excited to try this dessert given the hype in reviews, but was disappointed. It was overly sweet for my taste.
- Platano al horno: While a dessert, this was my favorite dish! Who doesn’t love a roasted banana with whip cream and cinnamon?

If there ever were a time that I thought I knew myself, I didnt actually until after eating here. The food is absolutely unmatched & it’s not expensive. First, the mocktail-Celestia: the first sip immediately out me into a state of euphoria. Creamy delicate flavors. Next the tacos cochinita, I could cry with how delicious they are. But the big show?? The HEADLINER???! THE TRES LECHES CAKE?!??!? LOVE is the main ingredient in that, let me tellll youuuuuu😩😩. Anyway, give it try!

Recién fui al de reforma, pero tiene la misma esencia que el de San Ángel, es un lugar calido, con súper buena atención y muy rico, he probado ahí el mole, pozole, memelas, tacos veracruzanos, pastel, bebidas, largo etc.

Wow, what a great restaurant, completely Vegan. Staff is extremely friendly, the place is super clean. Food was outstanding. They also serve you an appetizer courtesy of the house. I had too much food , but I ate it all. I wanted the Tacos but wanted to try the quesadillas as well. It was all very delicious. I will be back for the Tres Leches cake since I am full. It’s also not expensive for the quality you get.

The only problem you will have is choosing what to order! My favorites are the chilaquiles encacahuatados and the mole. And the tacos…and everything!

La comida es muy variada, son platillos diferentes y con gran sabor. Los precios son muy accesibles también, todo en ese aspecto esta excelente.
Read moreLo único malo que me hizo darle 3 estrellas fue el servicio, estuve unos 10 minutos esperando para que me tomaran la orden y trajeran un jugo, y otro buen rato para que me tomaran la orden, pero a los extranjeros que llegaron después de mi enseguida los atendieron y hasta comieron antes que yo.
Para un lugar que quiere tener prácticas anticolonialistas (lo dice en el menú), no es muy congruente de su parte.

Went here twice on our trip because it was the best vegan Mexican food we found. The prices are very reasonable for the area, and everything we tried on the menu was fantastic. The moles are particularly yummy! They opened this second location in May ‘25. Staff super friendly and place is very clean.

Very tasty restaurant! We tried the three different moles and they were all super yummy! We also got the chilaquiles with chorizo which were excellent! We definitely plan on going back for more. The food felt so fresh and high quality. Also, I suggest trying the champurrado. It’s like a hot chocolate atole (be prepared for a very thick drink). Lastly, the people were super friendly too😄
