Yummy filled pancakes 😋

Cute filled pancake stall at Lau Pa Sat. Lots of vegan options and everything is made from scratch daily. I tried the charcoal sea salt caramel coconut one and it was delish! Deserves 5 stars, but could only rate it 4, because the business isn’t fully vegan.

Look for stall 88-95. Recommend going during the day time, to be sure that it will be open.

IN LOVE

These are delicious! Best sweet treat in Singapore yet. You must try these! Super cheap and lots of options. All were vegan except one.

Delicious and inexpensive MJK

Hazelnut MJK was divine. Kind of like a crunchy Nutella! The biscoff was also amazing. My partner had a peanut one and enjoyed that too. We went back multiple times in our 5 day trip, they were that good!

EDIT 9/5/25 - although I was told in store that the hazelnut filling is vegan, it appears hazelnut MJK not listed as vegan on their new website 😔💔 biscoff, peanut, coconut, red bean and black sesame listed as vegan friendly

Munchi Pancakes

Delicious peanut and biscoff vegan options. The biscoff was incredibly crunchy but a bit sweet. The peanut butter option was just right. I found another place I liked better but this place is a wonderful choice and had many more flavours/options.

Love love love

My first time trying this kind of pancake and LOVED it! We got the peanut and black sesame filling with the normal pancake and red bean in the green tea pancake. So delicious, and chewy, and ugh, I will think about these a lot. Recommend the black sesame & red bean fillings in particular - and the green tea pancake had a really great flavor as well that went well with the red bean.

Certainly Worth an Extra Star

My word these pancakes were good. I had to fight very hard not to go back and order more! Not a single one of them was a disappointment, or even slightly mediocre. At an absolute push I would say that the biscoff one just about won out in a very strong field, but the black sesame ran it very close.

Munchi Pancakes, Singapore

Server said only 1 pancake (kaya?) isn't vegan. $2 for a slice of black sesame pancake. Very tasty. Helpful server. I doubt it will win healthy food awards given its a pancake place, but they do what it says on the tin if pancake is what you want.

Pros: Seems vegan friendly, Helpful server, Tasty

Cons: All vegan is always better, Menu marking vegan items would be an improvement

Nice "Pancakes"!

We tried the fillings: biscoff, red bean, Black sesame and peanutbutter.
I highly recommend the biscoff and Black sesame ones! They were sooo delicious.
The pancakes are made from a kind of jelly dough. So a different consistency than regular pancakes.

Tasty pancakes

Came here twice for their pancakes. The biscoff filling was the best. Tried original and charcoal pancakes and the green tea flavour soy milk which was also good. Staff helpfully advised on which fillings were vegan or not
