Excellent food & friendly host - Edit
Lovely little place with a friendly host who was super happy with her happy cow window sticker. We got a vegan platter for 2 for under £30. You get a choice of 4 toppings out of 8 2 vegan specials to choose from. We got given an extra topping & a salad topping. We liked the red lentil one the best. Its best to book ahead as we just about got a table early evening on a Wednesday

The hostess of the restaurant was very lovely and hospitable to all visitors, so the atmosphere was very good. The Defin Misir Wot was also very delicious. Would definitely come again to try other dishes…

The vegan platter is amazing and a great way to try all the different dishes on offer! The spiced Ethiopian chai was also lovely. This was our first time trying Ethiopian food and it didn’t disappoint, we will deffo be back next time we visit Edinburgh! Muna is an amazing host and made our visit so special, we felt like family. I really wish HappyCow would allow a full 5 star review even though it’s not a fully veg place.

If you're in Edinburgh you must come to Muna's! We met her in person and the food was amazing! I can see why they have 4.9/5 stars on Google! It's a shame happycow doesn't allow us to rate this 5 stars!

Can't give 5 star because it's not fully vegan, but the staff were warm and welcoming and easygoing with my wheelchair friend too, gave us free extra wot (stew/side). This is a slice of Ethiopia in Edinburgh. Best vibes!

An amazing first introduction! - Edit
I have never had Ethiopian food before and this was an amazing first introduction! Went in with my omni partner, who got a meat combo and I got the vegan combo. Loads of choices, all clearly labelled vegan. Huge portions for a really good price, lovely atmosphere, will definitely be back and highly recommend!
