Good value, delicious food - Edit

Lovely staff and good food. We had the vegan chicken curry and the tofu katsu curry. Altough the curry was nothing super special but it paired perfectly with the lemongrass vegan chicken and with the crispy tofu katsu. I would go there again for sure!

Nice Japanese curry - Edit

Authentic flavour - Edit

I only discovered this place shortly before moving out of Vancouver, but I really enjoyed the meal I was able to eat here. They have four different vegan options and the flavour of the one I had was just like I remember in Japan. (I had the tofu katsu curry.) It would be nice it had had some vegetables, but I think I could have ask for some, I just didn't think of it when ordering. The staff was really friendly and we quickly got to chatting in Japanese. Definitely will be returning when in Vancouver.

Good, filling curry - Edit

This a nice little joint with a vegan section on the menu. The friendly staff recommended the Tofu Katsu with a side of veggies. There are 4 levels of spice you can choose from for the curry sauce, I chose level 3. Overall it was a good curry and filling as it comes with a lot of rice. I’m thinking if I ordered one level lower of spice the curry might’ve had more flavour. It would’ve been nice to have more vegetables included in the $4 add on... The mango pudding from The Vegan Pudding Co. was delicious! I’d eat here again but I’m in no rush to return.
