It's a small restaurant, so go off peak hours or make a reservation. The food is delicious though. My husband had a coffee drink that he loved too. Worth going, the menu is a little hard to understand but the servers are wonderful.

Wow, such a unique experience. I’m not a big rum fan but the cocktails were excellent and very unique. The food, while a limited selection, were super flavorful. The ambiance was one-of-a-kind. Highly recommend for a unique experience.

The tofu dish here is the best tofu I’ve had in my life, but each of the 4 dishes we shared was uniquely flavorful. The attention to detail shines in their flavor profiles, as well as the decor and ambiance. We were able to walk in on a Tuesday night with no reservation, but it’s such a small place, I understand why reservations would be recommended or required at other times. I would happily return!

This place is just bursting at the seams with creative imagination and delight. The concept is so fantastical, and everything is executed with attention to detail and whimsy. We had 4 cocktails (mindkiller, away mission, Astro zombie, warbird) and loved them all — they were delicious and beautiful, and packed a punch. When we first sat down and checked out the menu I was alarmed that the 2 drinks I wanted were “limit 2 per traveler” but I was schmammered after 1 mindkiller and could hardly start my Astro zombie. The food was yummy and the way it was presented on the menu was imaginative, but I would have liked to see more veggies or variety on each plate. We ate and enjoyed the rice, sandwich, and tofu — but the decor, ambience, and drinks were out of this world!!!!

The vibes in here were immaculate. Such a cool design and a really imaginative menu. Five stars for vibes alone. The food was really incredibly tasty, but the portion sizes are absolutely tiny. So be prepared to either order a lot or get food after. That being said, I would definitely go again.

5 Star Unique Experience - Edit
I rate this a 5 star experience just based on the ambience, and the fact that it’s all vegan. We tried most of the food menu, but the potatoes are definitely the star of the show. The tofu, rice and donuts were also good! The alcoholic drinks we got were fairly strong, and the presentation was great.
Read moreThe only ‘complaint’ I have about this place is that the food is tapas-style, meaning that the portions are relatively small. Don’t go in expecting to become full if you’re on a budget. We spent about $150 (4 people) and I got hungry 2 hours later. As long as you go in knowing this, it’s a 5 star experience!
The ambiance speaks for itself, I’ve never been inside a restaurant like it. Very much recommend going inside the restroom if you’d like to know what it’s like to use the restroom in the Death Star 🌌

Very cool concept and something to experience for sure.

Food: I guess I should have been an elevated bar food mindset versus an elevated dining experience.
Service: Friendly and helpful staff. The timing was off, everything came very rushed. They ask you to enjoy your meal in a 90 minute window and wow did they work to get us done quickly.
I would come back though, for drinks and appetizer with a different expectation.

After learning that Mothership was starting a happy (or, as they call it, hyper) hour, a friend and I decided to give it a try. We walked in on a Tuesday at 5 and were told a table was an hour's wait, but there was standing room in the bar. Now we know if you want to sit, even on a weekday, it is best to make a reservation. We ended up ordering two cocktails that were tasty and very similar to their sister restaurant, Kindred. The bartender was friendly, but they are (in my opinion) understaffed, so everything took a bit of time to happen. The interior is cool, and the fact that it’s all vegan is the cherry on top for me. While I still prefer Kindred personally, I would stop by Mothership again and, next time, try food.

The ambiance is over the top and fun. The food is top notch! Reservations are required, you cannot simply drop in for a drink or meal. Everything is tapas style, and the menu is short, so be prepared to share and order several items. It's pretty cold inside, so bring a sweater.

The interior design and theme harkens back to 70s retro futurism (think Star Wars) and the attention to detail is incredible. The drinks were my favorite part, followed closely by the soft serve. The food dishes were just ok–lots of flavors and very ambitious, nothing really stood out of the three dishes we ordered. Would go back but might skip food next time.
