Great food + portion sizes - Edit
We had a great jackfruit roti, Mac and cheese, and a really delicious peach smoothie, all reasonably priced! Overall, it was a solid hole in the wall experience with awesome Trini vegan food!

The food was ok. Not to die for but still good. I didn't like the presentation of the box. I find it tacky to put food in boxes and plastic as if it's to go.

I had the roti with chickpeas, potato, jackfruit, and some greens. The food was nice, the portions were good. You may not find space to eat though as there are only 3 seats.

I was excited to try out this place on a recent local visit. At first glance it seemed promising. You walk into a small, colorful space with music and are treated enthusiastically by the staff. Menu had a variety of breakfast sandwich options as well as smoothies and juice (lunch specials only during the week). I went with the Fry Bake and tofu scramble. The price was surprising at less than $10. The staff seemed to be making it to order, which was great but it also took at least 20 minutes while I was waiting. The results were disappointing. The tofu scramble was watery and not very flavorful. The ‘meat’ that came with it seemed to be 2 slices of oil soaked bacon that were not crispy in the least. The one glimmer of light was the bread which was fresh, crispy on the outside, and warm/fluffy on the inside. I would be more satisfied with making my own combo of the three at home. Hopefully other patrons have better experiences with the food, but I won’t be visiting again any time soon. The people were so so so nice and I wish the best for them.

Friendly people, delicious vegan Caribbean dishes. We got a lunch special (weekdays only, weekends have different specials) that came with (soy) salmon ham, rice, beans, and vegetables, and also ordered 2 fry pies (the vegan beef and cheese) and the chicken (oyster mushrooms) and waffles. Our favorites were the beef pie and the chicken and waffles. Small spot, so mostly takeaway.

The chkn' burger has to be my favorite vegan burger in all of New York City (tied with Fatboy's up in Bed Stuy)! All the food here is so good and the people are super nice
