Great stop!

We’re on a road trip and stopped for a late lunch! We came in close to closing and staff was very kind and patient! Lunch was delicious, we got vegan French toast with vegan butter(they asked if I wanted regular or vegan) , syrup, and blueberry apple compote.
We also got the triple lucky noodles and my lunch buddies said the dish was really well seasoned and good but that the tofu wasn’t marinated so it was bland.
I got a chocolate croissant to go and it looks so amazing; I can’t wait to eat it later!

Great place for brunch

Fabulous good and friendly service with outdoor seating. I loved the dill sour cream on my chilaquiles, a plate of tofu scramble, black beans, blue corn tortilla chips, pico de gallo and olives. Everything on the menu can be made vegan.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Reasonably priced, Friendly service

Veggie Goodness

We joined a small, eager group of regulars waiting out front on a Friday morning. Once inside, service was prompt and friendly, as was food and beverage delivery. Breakfast burrito, veganized, and vegan quesadilla did not disappoint! Yum. Golden chai latte and a good cuppa coffee, plus strawberry lavender scone and cardamom roll to go. All baked goods were vegan and awesome looking!

Down home café

This seems to be one of the few places in the downtown area of Eugene that has sit down vegetarian meals with loads of vegan options. My meal was quite filling and satisfying as were the meals of my friends who joined me.

Hearty, tasty brunch and fabulous vegan pastries

What a great stop for breakfast on our road trip. Dog-friendly patio seating. And right near the train station if you are traveling that way. Vegan french toast - the peach special version was especially delicious. The biscuits and gravy was tasty (the biscuits are moist and yummy on their own) the side of tempeh was delightfully seasoned. The vegan pastries: scones, sweet rolls, cinnamon rolls are outstanding - moist and flavorful. It's got a cute and community vibe. We made sure to stay in Eugene on our way back so we could enjoy it again.

Pros: Outstanding vegan pastries, Great location and community vibe, Delicious food

Old school vegan

Fun spot the way "vegan food used to be" and I mean that in the best way.

Favorite Spot in Eugene!

Perfect classic veg restaurant vibe, absolutely delicious breakfast and pastry offerings, and great outdoor seating! The Fusion is my personal favorite on the menu. This is a go to whenever I roll through town, it ain’t a morning in Eugene without Morning Glory!

Peak brunch

Absolutely heavenly place. Full of good hippie vibes. You can’t go wrong ordering a coffee, a savory, or a sweet. Bring your own to-go containers because they really give you a lot of food. Only nitpick here is that they charge an extra $1 for nondairy milk, which feels ridiculous when they don’t charge extra for vegan butter.

Pros: Very large portions, Tasty menu, Great atmosphere

Cons: Surcharge for nondairy milk

Made from scratch breakfast

What a gem! Went late morning during the week and was sat right away. The menu has a large amount of vegan things from biscuit sandwich to French toast. Everything is made from scratch with fresh, healthy ingredients and you can tell by the quality of food. The portions are large, staff is friendly and there’s a full case of baked goods when you walk in with vegan treats like scones, sweet rolls, small cakes, and cookies. Would highly recommend stopping here for breakfast.

Pros: A lot of vegan options, Large portions

Great brunch food!

I love Morning Glory Cafe! They have amazing vegan pastries, French toast, and biscuits and gravy! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they also serve nonvegan food.

Team service

Interesting concept of team service. You basically are serviced at some point by every team member. We visited two days in a row. After being acknowledged; which took awhile, we were seated quickly. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating options are in front along the sidewalk and the side, which is a covered deck(we missed it on our first visit).

The Happy Morning Sandwich is a large portion and very filling, with two different types of “sausage” patties and richly dressed potatoes. A satisfying meal.

We had the special soup on both days and they were good. Nice that they do change their specials.

The Chilaquiles was really good and more of a lighter, but filling dish. We selected black beans on the side. The sauces they offer table side, can zest anything up.

Don’t miss out on the pastries. They go fast. We had a scone, muffins and almond claw. All of them were so good!

Pros: Outdoor seating, Seemed everything was vegan, Pastries and Brunch dishes

Vegan/vegetarian Breakfast

I appreciate a breakfast place that is vegan and vegetarian. Most of the menu is already vegan, but do clarify if you want all vegan.

Delicious breakfast

We waited for about 20min to be seated (midweek) but once ordered, food came out really quickly. We were immediately given iced waters. The chai was so much better than expected but the oat latte was a little iffy. Breakfast was hearty and left us feeling great for a day of adventure around Eugene. There’s a huge carpark the next block over. Would definitely return!

Pros: Reasonable pricing , Attentive staff

A little hair in my coffee never stopped me

Showed up on Sunday morning to have brunch with my band on our way back home. There was a 20m wait which is roughly how long it took to find parking (just kidding it took like ten minutes - parking is limited). I ordered a vanilla hemp latte with cayenne pepper. When it arrived there was a hair on the top. Everybody was cool about it and they made me a new latte quickly. For breakfast we ordered 2 Happy Morning Sandwiches and 2 breakfast enchiladas specials. The folks who ordered the enchiladas were disappointed that it was just 1 enchilada. The Happy Morning Sandwich was dry and needed salt but the smoky hot sauce on the table plus an extra side a mushroom gravy fixed it right up. The service was great (although the server who refilled our water and coffees spilled on the table and our phones with every refill).

Pros: Friendly service , Short wait on a Sunday , Everybody is wearing a crop top

Cons: Hair in Beverage

Tasty, quick lunch

The restaurant was bustling in the late morning on a weekday, but I was sat down right away. The service was friendly and very fast. Good food, sensible portions, prepared well. Delicious freshly-squeezed orange juice, too. Recommended!

Omelette that is a scramble

I was saddened that the pesto omelette when veganized is a scramble but that disappointment melted away when I tasted it. Amazing! The nooch cheeze sauce was really savory and the smashed potatoes were perfect- crunchy and herb-crusted on the outside and soft in the center.

Lunch on the road

Stopped by this popular spot as we saw some promising menu choices. Enjoyed sesame stir fry and the fusion entrees. Nice flavor on both. Biscuit was fluffy and crunchy. Down side of location is 2 tables seated well after us received entrees first. So after waiting 30 minutes and asking we got our food. The stir fry was ordered with tempeh but received with tofu. They offered to remake but we suggested a side of tempeh which they did bring free of charge. The dish is definitely better with tempeh. Found tofu to be dense.

We would dine there again but never if we had an appointment to be at. Although they were busy it; there were many empty tables.

Wait staff was kind and there is a groovy vibe. Liked also that condiments are on the table; jams and sauces.

Alright

The cafe was bustling so we got takeaway. We tried the breakfast sandwich, chocolate croissant and quesadilla (made vegan). Mild flavors but everything tasted pretty fresh. Found it odd that nutritional yeast was the substitution for cheese if you want something vegan. 🤔

Cons: Not fully vegan, no vegan cheese?

vegan/vegetarian brunch in Eugene that is outstanding

I first lived in Eugene in 2003 and lived in Eugene numerous times since then last in 2014 to 2015. I am now in SF yet Morning Glory was and still is the spot for vegan/vegetarian brunch in Eugene. Amazing food and friendly/efficient service.

Expect a line at times yet everything here is amazing from the savory and sweet. During a recent week stay in Eugene I ate here twice and nearly thrice aka three times yet was a long line the last time was here so opted to go elsewhere due to a lack of time.

I love the food here and vibe here. This most recent visit went with a triple lucky noodles aka savory healthy and tasty noodle dish and the cajun tempeh.

Both were awesome. Recommended to check out this spot in Eugene or anywhere near it for that matter.
