Lovely full vegan restaurant - Edit
This place is brilliant. So many things to choose from and all vegan! Had the vegan haggis, with potatoes and the whiskey infused turnip cream which was such a nice combination of flavours!
Read moreThe creme brûlée, however, was a bit too set for me. More like a flan than creamy - but the taste was nice.
Pros: Variety, Nice flavours, Friendly staff!

Good food! - Edit
We went for a Saturday lunch and the place was quite busy!
Read moreWe tried the pizza with aubergine, the tofish & chips and the pizza crunch. Everything was good, the deep fried stuff was a bit greasy but very tasty.
I would go there again to try more dishes!

Sehr sehr empfehlenswert - Edit

A tasty meal - Edit
Loved sitting outside (it was so busy we had to but this was good as it was a nice night!) You can just walk in and get a table which is good even on a Saturday.
Read moreWe shared the Spice Bag it had like doner style seitan pieces, onions, peppers and chips. It was expensive for a side but delicious.
I enjoyed the plain margarita pizza. It was very tomatoey which I liked.
My partner enjoyed the macaroni and cheese with garlic bread.
Would definitely return
Was just so great to have choice!

Mono No Aware - Edit
Stereo was busy so we went to Mono, I had the tofish & chips plus added mushy peas, I was really delighted that it wasn't too strong a fishy taste, battered perfectly & great chips. My friend had the macaroni cheese & chips, she was enjoyed thoroughly. Would definitely go back. Added bonus of some Hacienda posters on display.

Long live Mono - Edit
I go to Mono every time I am in Glasgow. The food selection is great--quality and fresh food options. Last time I had a caesar salad and their baked mac and cheese and the combo was perfect.
Read moreThe space itself is also really fun, with the record store (Monorail) basically inside the restaurant.
A must visit when you are in Glasgow!

Chilled vibe - Edit
Very relaxed bar and restaurant with outside seating. You can reserve a table indoors but not outside because of the changeable weather. We sat inside, good choice on the menu, helpful staff, excellent Scottish cider 100% vegan menu.
Read moreWe shared the Artichoke Bruschetta, I had the Thai salad and my husband the haggis burger. The burgers were fake meat style which isn’t my taste, but my husband loved it. The tofu and noodle salad was refreshing. Sadly they had sold out of the cheesecake, but we shared a tasty sundae. Would come again
Pros: Artichoke bruschetta, Chilled vibes , Scottish cider

Super Tasty Vegan food - Edit
This is a place that offers great vibes, very welcoming and full of art. The food is very satisfying! We tried the following stuff:
Read morePizza Crunch > despite the rough deep fried appearance it's not too heavy and surprisingly tasty, very good
Pizza Thai Sausage > pretty good pizza with the right amount of spicy
Tofish Tacos > balanced flavour and very tasty
Bruschetta > creamy, crunchy and very satisfying
Satay Skewers > it's more of a side but it's a good satay skewer served with nice salad
Peach cheesecake > soft, delicate and awesome
Coconut Raspberry sponge > delicious and spongy
If you're in Glasgow give it a try
Pros: Pizza Crunch, Coconut Raspberry Sponge, Tofish Tacos

Funky spot - Edit
We had been to Stereo twice and went to Mono for lunch. It was good! Menu is a bit different and the space is funky and has outside seating. Lots of beers, full bar and coffees as well. We had the wee Mac and cheese and it was great. Burger and tofish were ok. Asparagus with blood sausage was really good. Bonus tip go to the chocolate shop right nearby for delicious vegan chocolates

Relaxed dining option - Edit
A great place to come for a relaxed dining option. Huge, diverse menu which makes it very difficult to decide what to get 😂.

Food was delicious and very comforting.
We had the Mac and cheese - which was super cheesy, creamy and nostalgic.
We also ordered the nduja pizza - Spicy and satisfying oily 😋
Doughnut smores for pudding was insane, so sweet and such a treat 😍

Nice food menu and beer - Edit
The menu of the restaurant is diverse, so it was difficult to decide. The Hagis was very good and the pasta was also tasty. Nevertheless, it was very oily and the olive oil was unfortunately not flavorful. I really liked that the service takes orders at the table which I experienced the first time in Scotland.

I stopped by for a late lunch on a sunny afternoon and sat outside. The area is a bit gritty, but don’t worry the food is great. I had the Baja Fish Tacos, seemed to be breaded fried tofu? Soft tortillas, pickled onions, cabbage, pico de gallo, and cream sauce. I enjoyed the tacos! I also ordered fries because I was really hungry. The fries were hot and crispy, very nice.

Our top vegan venue - Edit
Mono is a gem of a place. Myself and my wife MUST visit it every time we are in Glasgow. The food, the drinks, the staff, the atmosphere, the prices are all top notch. Been round the various menus over the years and probably tried everything between us. Bring back the vegan schnitzel please, we miss it dreadfully! And if in doubt try the Mac n cheese. Also has Monorail records in the same location with genuine indie superstars behind the counter. What more could you want? The answer, nothing.

Tofu fish & chips!!! - Edit
An all vegan place, hooray!! Been here a few times and it's always been good. I always have the tofu fish & chips as it's something I don't get to eat very often. It's delicious! Nice crispy batter and chips and tartare (sp?) sauce, served with lemon wedges. Good sized portion and a full bar too. Definitely recommend. No pic, as I was too hungry 😅.

Great Tofish & chips! - Edit
Update January 2025: visited for a second time. I was not impressed. Service was very slow, staff avoided eye contact when I tried to call them, and also did not bring water to my table. Shawarma-loaded fries were quite a small portion, and subsequent sticky toffee pudding had almost no sauce and the ice-cream scoop probably could not be any smaller. Definitely not worth the price paid. I will still hope it was just a lapse, and give them another chance next time.

Excellent! - Edit
Have been here loads and it's always good but omg everything we ate today was divine. Had the baja tofish tacos to start, the "spicy one" burger (absolutely beautiful, nduja was gorgeous and the "hot honey" was amazing, made the burger sweet and spicy and the seitan was amazing) and then had the s'more donut to finish. CANNOT recommend that highly enough. Only thing I got a photo of. The photo doesn't do it justice, the most gorgeous dessert I've had in ages! Yum! Really friendly service too!

It’s okay - Edit
I’ve been several times and as much as I want to love it I always leave feeling it could have been a bit better. I always seem to prefer Stereo. It also feels like the price is quite high for the portion size, particularly they are a bit stingy on the chips which it wouldn’t take much to up the portion quantity. Most recently I had the satay bowl which I was a little disappointed with.
