A back alley gem - Edit
Got lost in Chinatown. Came across this place for a bite to eat just before closing and they welcomed us in. No idea what we ordered but it was delicious. Some sort of tofu and veg noodle dish. You have the option of white (rice?) or yellow (wheat?) noodles, dry or sauce. We picked one of each. Super speedy service cooked in minutes. No English spoken but friendly.

Really friendly owner who doesn't speak any English, but super smiley and welcoming. Just a couple dishes on the menu and I ordered one for take away. Well I have to say it's absolutely amazing! So delicious! Added bonus it's a huge portion. I will have to come back and try the other dish! He cooks the food there and then in the front of the restaurant. Brilliant. Just brilliant. I might just have to come back to absorb the positive vibes of this gentle man and have an amazing meal at the same time! One of Saigon's hidden vegan gems.
