Best coffee in Seattle - Edit
Superb coffee (and strong), the caffe vita decaf is particularly flavourful.
Read moreDonuts are good too, though too sweet for my tastes.
Staff are always great.
Seating space exists but the tables are jammed together pretty close so it’s not a great atmosphere for chilling in my humble opinion.
Pros: Coffee, Staff, Donuts
Cons: Tables are often dirty, Tables are packed-in tightly, vibe is off

Good donuts and exciting flavors - Edit
4/5 stars because there were only cake donuts and I ideally like being able to choose between raised, cake, and old fashioned. I got a coffee donut and it was really good! They had other exciting flavors too. It was a good balance of bitter and sweet. Definitely satisfied my craving for vegan donuts.

Treat yo'self - Edit
Stopped in for some vegan, plant-based donuts. This time the coffee bomb and the peanut butter chocolate donuts. Both were amazing, but something about the icing on the coffee bomb was special. I think they are all amazing, but recommending the Coffee Bomb!

Good cake donuts - Edit
Used to like mighy-o for their vegan donuts but now they’re very cakey compared to other new places like dough joy. I’d say if you’re looking for light fluffy yeast doughnuts, go to dough joy. If you want something more dense like cake donuts, this is the place. I do wish they were stronger on flavor though. They could easily go all vegan but they insist on keeping animal milk for drinks. 😞

Great cake donuts and lattes - Edit
Mighty-O has great cake donuts. My favorite is the nutty french toast, but they're all good. We also really liked the seasonal snowball donut. Their soy lattes are great. Our dog loves to come here, too! They gave us a little chunk of donut for him since they were out of the naked mini donuts. We've been to several Mighty-O locations with our dog (including on the Tour de Donut bike event) and appreciate how welcome he is.

5 star vegan donuts!! - Edit
It’s a shame this place isn’t considered fully vegan, it must be because they might keep cow milk on hand for beverages but I’m not sure. I wish I could give it 5 stars. All the donuts are vegan.
Read moreWe used to live next to this location and we still mention to each other now and then that we miss being able to stop by for a donut fix from this friendly neighborhood bakery. Their doors open up when it’s warm and they have some outdoor covered seating too.
My partner strongly favors cake donuts and since that is what Mighty O does best this is his favorite donut shop. But for specializing in cake donuts they sure do yeast-raised well too! They don’t often have the raspberry bullseye (I think because they run out) but when they do it’s a great day for me, it’s my favorite!
Their drinks are great too. Sometimes they have a cinnabun chai latte (seasonal) and boy is it tasty. Mighty O was the first place I saw to have Oatly before it was available anywhere else in Seattle as far as I can tell (even Vegan Haven) and that told me they are always looking for new ways to improve their menu!
Thank you Mighty O for showing people that vegan desserts can be wonderful.

Cakey donuts - Edit
Staff was friendly, the donuts were more like cakes than what I think of as a rising dough -nut. It was tasty but not spectacular. Atmosphere was nice. My latte tasted like drip coffee with milk in it(- no foam), ended up throwing it out.

overrated - Edit
I don't like dense cakey donuts, so Mighty-O doesn't really do it for me. The options and flavors are okay for people who dig that kind of donut, I guess. They have some 'raised' options like a cinnamon twist, but they aren't reliably in stock.
Read moreI also don't understand why they offer dairy milk and honey. If you've already done the hard work of making your main product vegan, why make those tiny exceptions? It just seems so unnecessary. Plenty of alternatives available now.

Pretty good but... - Edit
I feel like I have had better. It is always nice to try out different donuts when given a chance. These might be a bit sugary for me. They were tasty but I am not in a rush to go back.

Pretty good - Edit
Not my favorite vegan donuts ever but they get the job done. Fairly well priced and a nice amount of options! A short walk to the lake and you’ve got donuts to eat next to a lake!!

Nice fresh donuts. Wish there were some not super sugary pastries and it is a tad pricy, but a good treat once in awhile!

Not for everyone - Edit
Many people give a lot of praise to Mighty-O Donuts so I may have gotten my hopes up. I found the donuts to be overly sweet and very heavy with an odd textural issue. Even for a cake donut I expected a tasty and softer donut, but instead they were dense, dry, and oily. It seems like if they tweaked the recipe slightly, it would be an entirely different (and much better) experience

Okay if you like cake donuts - Edit
I think these donuts are WAAAAAY overrated, though I will add that I prefer yeasted doughnuts to cake doughnuts, and they primarily do cake-style doughnuts. Their fritter is dense and flat (and costs $4!), and the other doughnuts I've tried were moderately dry and crumbly. I have tried the fritter THREE times from different locations; I've also had their French Toast and lemon poppyseed doughnuts. I have since given up on them, and regret the money lost on the second and third tries.

A great way to start a morning. - Edit
I've been a long time lover of Mighty-O and this is my most frequented location. Parking can be a bit of a pain, but this is the most northern option, in my dreams a location comes even further north, but so far no luck. I'm happy to see there has been so much expansion in locations, it's so awesome to be able to get donuts in Ballard, Capitol Hill and South Lake Union. The Greenlake is still where I usually end up.
Read moreI do consider donuts a special treat and not necessarily an ideal breakfast food so I don't get them all too frequently, but I do enjoy a special occasion day that starts off with some delicious donuts. It seems like forever since I've come across the creme filled ones, but I have made my peace with it and now enjoy the Sprinkles, Raspberry Riot and Lemon Poppy. I do like that they always tempt me with samples while I wait in line, but I do still tend to stick to what I love.

Good donuts - Edit
I love the donuts, but they run out of the good ones early. They finally brought back the creme filled donuts and they’re amazing (when you can actually find them)! The jelly donuts and fritters are fantastic as well. But the major downside is that the upcharge for non-dairy drinks. Not a problem I enjoy dealing with at an otherwise vegan shop.

Went in for one, ended up with a dozen - Edit
We walked in to try a donut after Rachel tried a sample at veg-fest. We ended up leaving with a dozen donuts. That led to the perfect day watching Netflix eating a dozen delicious donuts. Price was about average for Seattle vegan treats.

truly delicious - Edit
If you need a sweet treat, indulge in these doughnuts! They have a nice variety, and they taste really good, you can tell they are made with quality ingredients. Coffee is pretty good too. I gave it only 4 stars because last time I was in there they were still serving cow milk (in addition to plant milk) for their coffees. I wish they would completely be 100% vegan, and just serve plant milks. (There is a milk for everyone: Almond milk, soy milk, coconut milk, cashew milk, rice milk, hemp milk.)

we tried 6 doughnuts - Edit
This place has more variety of vegan doughnuts than I've seen for a while and a nice mix of plain and interesting flavours. We tried a bunch and they were all pretty good although you could tell they were vegan (texture always slightly different?) but very fresh and tasty. I really liked the chocolate ones. It's a shame they have dairy milk for coffee and you have to specify if you don't want it. The coffee however was surprisingly good (it's America) and good latte art.

Fantastic vegan doughnuts! - Edit
Love their doughnuts! Truly delicious! Had the pleasure of trying several varieties at Caffe Vita in Columbia City. Only gave 4 stars because I have not been to their actual physical location nor met the staff, so I can't rate that aspect of the business.

As a vegan, I appreciate any and all baked goods free from cruel ingredients... But even if I didn't care about vegan, organic, non-GMO food I would still choose these donuts. I love all of them, but the raised glazed may be the best

We came in totally off-time, a little before lunch, between batches of doughnuts, but we still scraped together a dozen doughnuts from the remaining morning batch, and do you know what? They were incredible! We vote the chocolate glaze doughnut and the lemon doughnut were the best! Such a cute location too!
