Insanely tasty vegan ramen!

TL;DR: One of the best meals I ever tried! Go there if you can!

When you get there you have to choose and pay your meal at a machine. The vegan ramen are clearly marked.

After paying you give the ticket you got from the machine to the employee. He will ask if you want a small, medium or large amount of noodles. Even the small is not so small, I tried the medium and it was fine for me. But I would have probably eaten even the large because the ramen were so delicious.

Depending on the amount of people you have to wait a little while until one of the few seats is free. Once seated you can watch the chefs prepare the ramen.

You should leave shortly after you finish your food. It's not a place where you stay for long, as you should make room for the next guests. Don't forget to shout a "thank you" to the chefs on your way out, they do the same!

Pros: Delicious, Authentic, Freshly prepared

The best vegan ramen

A clean ramen shop in the business district serving absolutely amazing vegan ramen as authentic as you’d experience in Japanese general ramen shop. Would happily queue when visiting here again.

I tried both cold and hot noodles, I personally like hot noodles!

Amazing ramen!

They have only one Vegan dish you need to order at the machine at the entrance. Not expensive and very delicious. Noodles are home made right in front of you. Best ramen I had so far in Tokyo.

Sehr leckere vegane Ramen

Pros: Geschmack, Freundlichkeit, Hausgemacht

Kickass vegan ramen

They serve one vegan option, just choose 23 on the ticket machine. The broth is hearty with a good level of spiciness. Topped with soy meat and veggies.

While you wait you can watch them making the noodles fresh to order. The noodles are thick, uneven and probably the best we had in Tokyo.

Definitely the right ramen after a long day exploring Tokyo. The staff is super welcoming and the place is usually full with locals. I guess that's a good sign

Pros: Noodles made fresh to order, Reasonable price

Delicious ramen made in front of you

If you like a really toothsome noodle, and just a really great depth of flavor, this is the place for you. The noodles are thicker and more rustic than your typical ramen, but personally I loved that, and it's so much fun to watch them made in front of you. The broth and toppings were just really perfect, with an assertive spice level and bold flavor - I think there might've been shiso on there to give it a nice flavor contrast as well.

We stayed at a hotel nearby and were looking for something quick we could sneak out for when our kids didn't want to go out with us, so we chose this place by proximity and how casual it was, but the food was so good we were glad we stumbled across it. The ordering is a bit confusing but the friendly waiter saw us puzzling over the machine and quickly came out to help.

Pros: delicious ramen, made right in front of you - dinner AND a show!, we walked right in with no wait/reservation

Cons: it's a small shop, perhaps fewer than 10 seats, I think there's just one vegan choice

Good Soup

There’s one vegan Ramen which is very good. When I ate there there where just locals, which is a good sign I guess.

Cold Ramen during Summer

Noodles are really good and they make it in front of you. Really fresh. During summer they serve cold Ramen which is not that good tbh as the hot one (served during winter). You can purchase noodles as well.

Pros: 3 serving size at same price

Cons: Pricey

Menya Shichisai

WOW! What a beautiful and extremely rich ramen with delicious homemade noodles. To top it off, the staff are extra friendly--arigatou gozaimasu to them!

Only thing that was weird to me is the button for the vegan ramen said choice of soy meat or deer meat, not sure if it was a "lost in translation thing" but that made me a little nervous about making sure I got the right dish. After ordering, I pointed to the vegan meat option and said vegan when the nice lady took my ticket and she repeated vegan very joyfully. My meal came out as ordered with TVP.

Overall, this is a VERY delicious option. I LOVE that they have homemade vegan noodles. However, you REALLY need to be in the mood for a rich ramen, so don't eat rich ramen for lunch then come here for rich ramen for dinner...but if you can handle it, go for it! :)

Solid ramen with freshly made noodles

I was thrilled when I saw reviewers saying this place is even better than Kyushu Jangara, my absolute favorite. Having eaten at both now, I would not say Menya Shichisai is better - it's different. Menya Shichisai offers a milky broth with interesting condiments (a mock mince plus crushed cashews for crunchiness) that contained very few vegetables though. The highlight of the dish are the noodles, made to order right before you. I still prefer the broth and condiments at Kyushu Jangara, but Menya Shichisai is a solid choice and the noodles are second to none. My ramen was spiced with quite a bit of pepper. If you don't like your dishes hot, you may want to ask them to add less pepper. A nice touch was that they offer you three amounts of noodles, all at the same price. Pick the one that matches your hunger, without worrying about the price going up.

One one vegan option for now, but it's FANTASTIC

Vegan ramen done right. This means the restaurant doesn't aim for anything fancy or original. They just make a classic tantan ramen that even omnivores will enjoy. The soup is rich and thick, and the handmade noodles are a cut above most other ramen restaurants. Prefer this ramen to most other vegan ramen, including the venerable T's TanTan, Sora no Iro, and Kyushu Jangara (though those are excellent, too).

Pros: No-compromise vegan ramen, No smoking, English menu/vending machine

Cons: Only a single vegan option, Potentially longish wait times

Vegan ramen available

I haven't actually tried the vegan ramen bowl, but this ramen place is amazing, high quality broth and it'll leave you wanting more. You can even get a trableside seat and watch one of the chefs make fresh noodles.

Pros: Top quality ramen restaurant

Cons: Only 1 vegan option
