I was a bit sceptic about this place, but it’s pretty good. It’s one of the typical small shops/restaurants in Budapest, so expect a unique atmosphere.

I was eating there's plate of the day. It was cheep and tasty. I also ordered a coffee americano and a chocolate cake. Very tasting chocolate cake! It's a small family restaurant and the owners are very friendly!

Wonderfully quaint cafe with a culturally diverse menu - Edit
We had two homemade lemonades, a hot dog and chocolate cake. Everything was fantastic! The staff are lovely. We love sour lemonade but I'd recommend their 'added sugar' option if you're not in to that. I can't fault this place, the decor and atmosphere was very relaxing.

We tried the hamburger and the hotdog, and they were pretty good. The hotdog tasted like a real one according to my boyfriend. The chocolate cake is great as well. The prices are low. Would recommend.

I’ve been here a few times already and each time I’ve went the food has been amazing! They have a daily menu which changes every day, including rice, some curry/beans/vegetables and some soy. It’s a very filling meal, not to mention it is very cheap as well! The couple running the store is very friendly and helped me get situated in Budapest! I would highly recommend trying this place out!

It was the first vegan restaurant in Budapest that we came into, and we were really surprised by the taste, price and big portions! I honestly recommend to everyone. Even non vegan people that joined us were delighted. Really nice family own this place.

I ate here for breakfast and it was the first time I'd tried seitan. It was delicious and the owner was very nice. He sold vegan flapjacks which we bought as a snack for our day at the thermal baths.

This is a very small place, 8+1 bar stools only, there are no real tables, keep this in mind 😊
Read moreHowever, it is very cozy, operated by a sweet, smiley, elderly Asian couple, who are superfriendly and helpful. They do not really speak Hungarian, so it is a really international tiny place, cause you hear a mix of English, Hungarian and Asian language continiously 😁
The food is great! Simple, bit of fusion of Asian and European cuisine, very yummy.
It's at a very convenient place as well, just at East Railway Station, easy to get to or from the centre by subway.
They offer menu in 3 different sizes, changing every day.

Veggie burgers are out of this world! - Edit
The patties used in the veggie burgers (as well as the vegan mayo) are all made in house. We had a chance to speak to Karen, the proprietor and she speaks so passionately about her food. The burgers were so tasty we ordered two more to go on our train ride!

The place is very small but cosy. You can get 3 different portion sizes, from which the biggest one costs around 5€. The lady was super nice and was smiling all the time. Food was very good and tasty. So if you arrive at the main train station for the first time and you are hungry, this is the best place to go.

It's a cute and tiny place next to the Keleti station. Karens food is really tasty. I often go there to eat a daily menu,which is alwalys fantastic. I think i eat the most amazing seitan here. You can order coffes,smoothies and junk foods too. And you can buy some hummus or lentil chips and soft drinks.
