AMAZING vegan Chinese food - Edit
Idk why this is listed as vegetarian—it is a fully vegan Chinese fusion menu. The menu is small but mighty, just like the physical space.
Read moreWe tried the dumplings, the sweet and sour mushrooms, and the cucumber salad. The cucumber salad was good, loaded with cilantro, but honestly not a showstopper. The dumplings were also yummy! I don’t know exactly what they use for their « pork » filling, but it didn’t taste like a fake processed meat. It was nice to have an alternative dumpling flavor as vegans are usually stuck with simple veggie dumplings. The real star of the show were the crispy sweet and sour mushrooms. Holy cow, these were SO good! Perfectly crispy, packed full of flavor, and not too chewy.
The owner stopped by our table to ask how we were enjoyed our food, which I love about small vegan restaurants. My only complaint is that we had to wait 15 min even with a reservation due to mostly family-style seating. But it was a 10/10 experience, and we’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Great - Edit
We had the Cucumber Salad, which was fresh and had an interesting combination of flavors. The noodles were okay, nothing special. We didn’t love the monkey buns, a little too sweet. What stood out was the Kung Pao Tofu. Amazing texture and flavors. I loved the tea selection and service was great. Also, not as expensive as expensive and portions were fairly big! Would love to try other things on the menu sometime

The Best Chinese Brunch You’re Going to Find in LA - Edit
I walked into this place and left without words — and you know that’s rare for me. I came for a food review, brought a friend, and while she raved, I still had no idea the flavors were about to take me out the game. Every dish felt intentional, bold, and unforgettable.

A meal you’ll think about later! - Edit
Everything we ordered was delicious! I think the Avocado Bao Buns were my favorite. I’m also going back for a tea ceremony. My new favorite place:). PS I also appreciated the staff. When I accidentally ate a spicy pepper they gave me oat milk.

Sweet & Sour Mushrooms are the Star! - Edit
The sweet and sour mushrooms were by far the best dish. Perfectly crispy and coated w flavorful sauce. But I wasn't as impressed w the other dishes: the king oyster baos were nice and fluffy though wish it had more filling; the cucumber salad wasn't flavorful and rather bland and could use more cucumbers and less cilantro; the dumplings could have been more fried with the inside "pork" being too mushy and strangely sweet; and the kung pao tofu was more smokey than spicy/sweet. The waiter and waitress were so attentive and kind, always refilling our glasses and when asked about the kung pao tofu, they said it was taken off the menu but that the chef could likely still make it. So sweet!

SO DELICIOUS ANS BEAUTIFUL - Edit
We loved our meal and for $77 we felt very full! Which is a first for a nice restaurant in LA. For dinner the entire menu is vegan. LOVED the monkey buns and dumplings - will order everytime.

Had such a phenomenal meal here. We loved the attention to detail from start to finish. The tea was great, the food even better, and the service warm. Highly recommend the monkey buns and kung pao tofu.

Truly a wonderful dinner. - Edit
We had a fantastic dinner here. There were 5 of us, which was fortunate, because we got to sample a lot of the menu. The flavors were subtle and well-balanced. The small plates and wok dishes were uniformly excellent. The elite puffs, bao, and sweet and sour mushrooms were standouts. The desserts were also fascinating and worth adding to the meal. The service was also great.

Wow! - Edit
This is what vegan food should be always. Loved the Kung Pao Tofu, distinguished by its smokey flavor, chewy texture. Sweet and Sour Mushrooms are nothing like I expected (I am not a shrooms fan but this dish was more like Orange chicken). Appetizer of seitan "chicken wings" was a little too tough and peppery, but we ate all three fillets. Opening with Jasmine oolong tea was elegant. Turn down the thumping club music, and I'm an even happier vegan!

Vegan handmade dim sum - Edit
This places fills the void of all the vegan restaurants that went out of business in the area. A must try. Glad they moved from Florida to LA as it saves you a flight to taste these awesome dishes!!

Yes! - Edit
Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. My favorites were the corn puffs, monkey buns, and dumplings. Some of the dim sum servings were small, but we left full and happy. The ambience is chic without being pretentious, and all the staff are really nice.
