No flavor and overpriced - Edit
Probably the worst miso soup I’ve ever had in my life. It tasted like boiled carrots and had zero miso taste. The sauce in their rice bowl also had no flavor. Overall I will never eat here again.

i’m not used to having a lot of vegan options to chose in a menu haha. i don’t remember the name of the dish i ordered but it had a lot of tofu, not like other restaurants that the tofu portions are really little. the dishes are big and filling. i would definitely go again

Huge portions but not the best food - Edit
This place is confusing. It's a Chinese restaurant that also serves Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese food too, although as a vegan, your options are mostly Japanese and a handful of Korean and Vietnamese dishes. None of the classic Chinese dishes, like sweet and sour with mock meat, were listed in the vegan section of the menu, although they are available for meat eaters.
Read moreThe restaurant serves large portions, but to my palate, the food just didn't taste that good. I don't know what sauce they used for the bibimbap but it didn't taste like what I've had before. The tempura vegetables comprised of a hell of a lot of onion, broccoli, some carrot and cucumber (never had deep-fried cucumber before. It was weird). We couldn't eat most of it. The waiter strangely asked me if I only wanted vegetables because the tempura usually comes with shrimp, despite me telling him in Spanish that we were vegan and were ordering off the vegan section of the menu. I've had a lot better Asian food than this and while I appreciate their serving sizes, I wasn't a fan.

4 out of 5, would come back - Edit
Hugely extensive vegan menu that's separate from the regular menu and clearly labeled as vegan/vegetarian. Almost too many options to choose from, but I went with the fried tofu (C4) and the pho. The fried tofu wasn't for me (not a fan of the breading, and the tofu was more on the silken side) but the sauce was nice! The pho was really filling and had a great broth and lots of vegetables. The only thing I didn't love was the fried mystery balls in it. Same breading as the tofu, but a veg purée inside. I think someone else would love them, they're just not in my palate!
Read moreFriendly staff and very covid conscious as well. Someone sprayed my hands as I entered, and they're sanitizing each table as people leave, distancing customers, all wearing masks properly, and sanitizing all cutlery an extra time.
Pros: So many vegan options

aclaracion - Edit

They gave me dumplings made with eggs - Edit
The waiter confirmed the dumplings was vegan, even they were at the regular menu, so I ordered it and ate. It's a good place with lots of vegan options, but don't trust in the waiters. If you have doubt, ask to talk with the owner, who knows the menu. I discovered it was made with egg ate the moment I was leaving, so.. Pay attention. I'd not like to eat animals ingredients :(

Not worth a try - Edit
Their menue is huge, with vietnamese, chinese and japanese dishes all together. They use glutamate in their sauces and the vegan crispy tofu was honestly not to eat. I will not go back.

Good - Edit
Large portions. Comfortable seating. I had the Pho off the vegan Vietnamese selection. Maybe the ingredients had something to do with it because even though it was good it wasn't anything like the real thing.

Great Veg Selection - Edit
I love Mei Lai Wa. The vegetarian menu is quite large with great variety. Everything is clearly labelled in the case of vegan options. The crispy tofu is a must. Great ramen, pho and bowl options as well. If you're craving some great chinese or south east asian dishes - this will hit the spot.
