Read moreI went here for the weekly special: musubi donburi with Omnipork. The service was great, very kind and friendly. The food was medicore- the special was 19$ and the portion was quite small. I have to admit I didn’t like the Omnipork - it wasn’t seasoned and not crunchy or chewy just a little bit warm and not flavored. The pineapple with salsa wasn’t for my liking either. I liked the steamed edamame and avocado. Ginger was quite much in comparison to the other ingredients. All in all their special wasn’t something to recommend but I hope the other dishes on the regular menu will be better.

I don’t understand the hype - Edit
Came here after hearing some locals boast about Meet on Main and having this one be the closest one to me at the time. The food was mediocre and our service was good at first but once we got our food, she just never came back the rest of the meal until we had to physically walk up to her to ask for the bill after sitting there finished for 15-20 minutes and it wasn’t busy and she was serving tables around us so that was weird.
Read moreI got the Crispy Chickun Burger after the server recommended it and it was so bad. I took one bite and the whole thing fell apart. The battered oyster mushroom isn’t a patty, its just separate pieces of mushroom. The one and only bite I took was just only crispy batter. $20 wasted and no server to ask me if everything was okay. I also got the potato skins and a side thai salad though and those were good.
It would be great if it was one of the only options but since there is so many vegan places or places with options in Vancouver, I don’t imagine I’d be back this trip.
PS, I ended up going to Meet on Main as well and its literally the same thing

I had the Kalamari (don‘t taste like Kalamari but still sooo good) and the Not-Cho‘ average nacho fries and was so full. I liked the Kalamari very much and enjoyed the fries (though they were very much overshadowed by the Kalamari). Staff was very friendly and I liked the atmosphere. In case I come back to Vancouver, I’d definitely go there again. Everything just sounded so good!

The food was real sour and wasn’t mentioned on the menu. A lot of the food in general is kinda sour and pricey. The food was good to me which is expected since it’s a burger and fries lol. Portion also could’ve been bigger. Not sure what option wouldn’t be so sour.

I enjoyed the food here. The double double burger and satay sauce & spicy mayo fries were my favorites. Hot chiggin things, aka hot wings, were pretty good, as was the salted caramel ice cream that I had. The sweet chili cauliflower was just ok.

Best staff in town right here. Seating room has a community vibe. People love this place. And so do I! Lots of burgers and fancy fries but fear not, AMAZING SALADS and vegetable based dishes too. I’m from Los Angeles where Thai Vegan is a huge thang. This is the best Thai Salad ever! MeeT took liberties and put their own regional spin on it and it’s now what I consider a signature dish. Something I’ll come back over and over looking to order.

Fully vegan, delicious comfort food, I had the mucho Gustavo burger it was absolutely fantastic loved the question and the guacamole over their home patty. Désert are very tasty as well. The vibe of the Gastown location is cozy for a dinner and the one on Yaletown I found very cool for lunch time. Staff is very friendly and the whole vibe is just really inviting. I recommand 100%.

I think from the other reviews I was expecting amazing food, which left me a little disappointed. We had two of the burgers: the patties were excellent but the bread was dry. The poutine was really good, and the brown rice with tofu bowl was outstanding.
