Would not return - Edit
I was so excited to try this restaurant and upon arriving all tables were full so another good sign that people like this place. After a short wait we got a table. The service was good. Unfortunately the food was not. First off the menu is completely ridiculous, no restaurant should have that large of a menu, perfecting a small menu is usually a better sign. Anyways, we picked the bbq burger and seoul bowl and both were almost inedible. In fact we weren’t able to finish either and felt awful for the rest of the evening. My main complaint is the flavour of their sauces and faux meet (very off-putting). On a plus side the desserts were very delicious. They must be doing something right because the restaurant was packed but this place was sadly not for me. It is not healthy vegan food at all.

loved it - Edit
We had to wait for a table because it was busy but it was worth it. I had the lavender lemon cocktail and some chips with gravy and onion rings. My partner had the meet burger. We both really liked our meals and service was prompt. We then decided to have dessert, a chocolate mousse and some chocolate ice cream. I definitely recommend the mousse. It was a nice place with lots of tables and a nice setup.

great comfort food - Edit
This is the perfect place to get comfort food or warm someone up to the idea of vegan food as a viable option. They also have one of the best tasting Cheez sauces I’ve tried.

Perfection. - Edit
Best vegan burgers I've ever had, anywhere. In Van for 7 nights & I will probably end up here for 5 of them! Loads of flavour, lots of choices & the sides are excellent (chips/dip & a delicious salad). Very filling. I came here after not eating a proper meal all day & I did not need any extras.. Good drink selection & top-shelf staff. Happy, friendly & helpful. Go there. Now!

Best burger in a very long time - Edit
I have to say this was the best vegan burger I've had in a very long time. Served piping hot with amazing crispy fries and a great spicy whisky BBQ sauce. Seriously loved it.

Best food in (Gas)town - Edit
A vegan hamburger heaven. This fancy local offers a wide selection of vegan plates, mostly burgers. They are all very creative, some of them even too much (I refer to the burger with mac and cheeze on top!). The local is very wide but with discrete, ambient light so it will be a perfect choice for a fancy dinner with a couple or with a group of friends.

Holy (happy) cow! This meal was unbelievable! I split the Noodley Thai and the Double Double burger with my boyfriend (who is a hard core meat eater) and even he agreed that it was incredible.

wow what a range - Edit
The menu here was amazing and I was sad to have to choose as I wanted to try many options! Research indicated there aren't many places in Vancouver that do vegan poutine and this was on the menu here. Also a lot of vegan classics and some you see less often. I had butter "chicken" delicious! The desserts were amazing as well. Only downside was that it was packed so slow/noisy/not private (but it being busy is a good thing for veganism too!)

Still thinking about the TeeM Poutine! In Vancouver for 3 nights. Wanted to go back on Friday night, but they were closed 😩. Have already posted on social media, wanting to spread the word to eat at Meet. If you are in Vancouver- you have to eat here. Great casual vibe and tasty options! You may have a wait- On Wed night we arrived at 7:30 and were seated at 8.

Decent Food; Pleasant Location - Edit
I came here and had The Main burger with a gluten free bun and salad instead of fries. It was good; nothing particularly fancy (the salad was quite plain, actually), but it hit the spot and I felt good after eating it. I really enjoyed sitting at a table outside on the covered patio; the entire vibe of the place is really nice. Also the server (Chris!) was super friendly and genuine!

can't believe it's all vegan! - Edit
I went to meet after hearing all the great reviews, and they were true! I took my non-vegan dad with me, and he was amazed, the burgers are a must try as well as the poutine, the restaurant also looks very chic and high end. Highly recommend for anyone that visits Vancouver

Mac n Cheese worth waiting for - Edit
We waited and waited at this place. It was so busy on a Tuesday night. We waited for a table then we waited for our food. At least an hour after we arrived we were fed.
Read moreBut it was worth it and that's probably why we waited. The Mac n Cheese I ordered with marinated strips of portebello mushroom was so mmmm-inspiring at every bite that I was very sorry when my bowl was empty (though pretty full!). My partner very happily forked up all of his butter chickn dish and he's fussy it must have been good.
The Mac n Cheese was one of the highlights of my trip to Canada and that's not over-telling it.
Pros: Great food , Lively, busy atmosphere
Cons: So popular you need to wait

Delicious - Edit
Meet is a lovely spot, the location is beautiful, the staff friendly. The butter chicken poutine was outstanding, so were some of the burgers. The mac & cheese dish was very good, but could have been a tiny bit more flavorful.

Go for the food, stay for the drinks! - Edit
Meet in Gastown is tucked away from the hustle of Gastown in a super cool setting that feels like a hip, hangout. We loved the 90's theme and even watching Robin Wililams in Jumanji on a 18" VHS screen. Along with the nostalgia, they offer a great selection of local beers and handmade cocktails, we loved the Hibiscus Margarita! Since we were just in for Happy Hour we split the Spinach Artichoke Dip, which was the best one we have ever had, vegan or not. Thankfully, the entire menu is vegan so we had no problems deciding.

Came here while visiting Vancouver and was not disappointed! Meet has a wide selection of food- it was so hard choosing just one thing! The portions were very generous and I think the prices were good. Food was loaded with flavor. Drink selection was also great too! I definitely recommend this place! Also, I love the name Meet!

Amazing - Edit
I loved this place! It looks odd from the exterior as it's in between two halfs of a unrelated clothing shop but the inside is beautifully decorated and the food is unmistakeably perfect! I had the mac and cheez burger followed by a coconut filled Cronut both of which were amazingly delicious, both very filling and satisfying to! My family found it a bit too noisy as the music is loud and it gets very busy at peak times however I personally was not bothered by this and just wanted to get up and dance, haha! This place is fully vegan and it gains a well deserved five stars from me.

Dirty comfort food - Edit
My partner and I had dinner here a few days back while walking around Gastown. Place was busy but we got seated right away in the back close to the bar. It was hot like an oven there. Luckily a table out front on the patio was leaving, so we were able to switch. Why won't they put up some fans inside?
Read moreWe just wanted a light meal because we'd already had a snack a couple hours earlier, so we ordered the sweet and spicy cauliflower and the kimchi poutine to share. It turned out to be the right call because portions were large. Food was alright but too rich and salty. I felt extremely thirsty later in the evening. We also got the cronut for dessert thinking they must have veganized the original thing. But no, it was actually a giant piece of flaky dough, stuffed with ice cream, deep-fried, and coated with cinnamon sugar. It was good, but a bit too much for my taste. Had I known this was what it was like, I definitely wouldn't have ordered it.
This wasn't the healthiest of meals by a long shot. Maybe it's just me, everything was too heavy and strong in flavors. Staff was very friendly though. If you like decadent comfort food, this place is for you.
Pros: generous portions, friendly staff
Cons: food too heavy and salty, too hot in the back

Best comfort food in town - Edit
Meet in Gastown is a great place to visit with your omni friends. The food is simple yet flavourful and hearty. I also love their drinks: vegan caesar and specialty coffees.
Read moreFood portions are big so I usually end up with a snack for next day as well. They use paper containers so you don't have to worry about polluting the environment with styrofoam.
I recommend whisky bbq things for starters, and el fab or double double burger for the meal.
As for desserts, leave some space for cronut, a delicious pastry emerging from croissant and doughnut beginnings.
Word of caution: on Friday nights or at dinner time, they usually have line ups. I am usually pretty positive about them though because I am excited to see crowds of people wanting to eat at a vegan venue.
Pros: Delicious, Friendly service
Cons: Line ups on busy nights, No reservations

Mac n cheese burger since a long time - Edit
Last Thursday i ate here with my non vegan BF. And we were surprised by the fact it felt like a regular restaurant. :) beer, burgers but also healthier options are available. I normally choose that, but I couldn't resist the mac and cheese burger with "bacon". And I'm glad I did, what a nice burger I had since a long time... :)
