Great place to go for people with different diets included gluten intolerences. Loads of vegan options including naan (more than one kind) lassi and raita.

Update: by now there is not just one but three articles that Arbetaren has published documenting rotten working conditions at this place. I cannot support a business that engages in such vile business practices.
Read moreI've decided to give this place an extra star, as they currently offer better value for one's money. A case in point would be the weekend special vegan combo, which consists of two gems such as vegan tikka masala and tofu palak paneer, PLUS naan. 149:- is certainly affordable for such an amount of food, especially being at a weekend. And the fact that they offer discounts to members of Hyresgästföreningen (the Union of Tenants) doesn't exactly make it worse!
On the minus side, still no vegan kulfi; I'm hoping they will give this dessert another chance, and that all vegans will enthusiastically demand it!
I've visited this place, or actually these places, on a few occasions. I've never been disappointed, but boy, it ain't cheap! Last time I ordered kofta I could only find literally 3-4 balls.. delicious though. And the other day I opted for a mango lassi... but hey, 49 sek and it wasn't even freshly made, they probably just made a big amount of it earlier that day and poured it as folks ordered.
Staff are friendly and accommodating, so Masala Masala is still definitely worth trying.. maybe lunch would be a better option, depending on one's budget.

This is a nice Indian restaurant and the second location for Masala Masala. I have never been to the one next to Odenplan, but been to this one 3 times.
The staff is always very kind and they are eager to know what you think of the vegan food and if there is something they can improve.
I have never left this restaurant with an empty stomach, the food is really good and so is the staff.
