wir sind als Touristen in Düsseldorf und haben das marny‘s über HappyCow gefunden. wir lieben alles daran. marny war super freundlich. wir haben uns gefühlt durch die ganze karte gefuttert. Kuchen vorab - wahnsinnig fluffig & lecker. Krimskrams-Schnitte x2 und Kartoffelsalat dazu. außerdem eine riesen Schüssel Milchkaffee, super leckerer Ingwer-Minztee. nun sind wir übersatt aber happy - so kann der Tag starten. Wir lieben auch den besonderen vibe im Laden. Absolute Empfehlung!

Wir hatten eine Suppe, eine Schnitte und einen Milchkaffee. Was erstmal vielleicht nicht unbedingt spektakulär klingt, ist aber unvergleichlich. Die Suppe war mega lecker und außerdem eine überraschend große Portion. Dazu kam sie mit einer separaten Schnitte von ihrem selbst gebackenen Brot. Ich will direkt sagen, dass sie die am besten belegten Schnitten macht, die ich je hatte. Viele Toppings, liebevoll drapiert und geschmackvoll aufeinander abgestimmt. Der Milchkaffee kam ebenfalls in einer kleinen Schüssel, so groß war er. Einfach toll 😊
Ich kann jedem einen Besuch bei Marny‘s nur wärmstens empfehlen, wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen! ☺️

Her lemon tarte can sway anyone. Marny’s lemon cake is packed with lemon flavor that is memorable every day since I tasted it. Pro tip: her lemon tarte has a creamy topping option and do not miss that pairing! (I’m not generally a lemon dessert person, I am a chocolate dessert person, and now I’m a Marny’s Lemon Tarte person!)

Marny is one of the world’s top vegan bakers, but also,
Marny is a heart-driven powerhouse brilliant chef who incorporates so many fresh vegetables into her delicious colorful menu items! YES healthy choices too! I love it when vegans create with vegetables.
YES she bakes her own hearty rich breads and delightful cakes.
Marny also has a hug I’d easily fly 14 hours for. Her restaurant is a cozy cool artsy inclusive space.
Get there when she opens, but just get there. When I visited, I arrived late so I missed a lot of specials, but she helped me find plenty of filling delicious offerings. Her menu includes a variety of toasts, which are amazing because she bakes showstopping memorable bread.
I reminisce about the beauty of her freshly baked bread topped with seeds, the vibrant veggie topped toasts, and her baking pan filled with stuffed French almond dessert (imagine an almond croissant, but not puffy or full of air. This pastry was delicately folded moist flavorful goodness). Wow.
Take some cakes to-go!
You will feel at home. Marny’s world is a very inclusive space. When I visited, one of her guests was a healthy happy 99 years old!
Seating is shared tables, and I loved that each table had a different international hot sauce on it (nice splash for soup or a toast). Next time I’ll show up early so I can experience her other gems (and maybe luck out with some chocolate deliciousness!)
Marny’s is cash-only. I parked around the corner (you can see the photo of the church I parked next to).

An awesome little place - Edit
We went to Marny's for lunch. We were welcomed by the lovely owner. She translated the menu for us and helped us choose our food and drinks. Lunch was soooo good. Nice fresh sandwich and salad, good milkcoffee and fresh mint tea. And as dessert we had a delicious pastry, which we ate with our hands, as you're traditionally supossed to do. We will definitely come back. Love this place

Got there for lunch and place was pretty quiet, the lady working there explained to me a bit what she had. I took an avocado/ tomato toast, but as you will see from the picture, it’s a handful! I also had her granny’s homemade potato salad. Both were super delicious and fresh. However what makes it even better than 5 stars is the lady that works there. Her energy is so positive and her laughter contagious. If you are in Duesseldorf, go and give it a try. By the time I left the place was packed. Oh and I also had a piece of the poppyseed cake to go, literally decadent.

Ein gemütlicher Laden, komplett vegan, super für ein Mittagessen oder einen Brunch. Wir waren zu dritt und hatten alle eine gut sättigende Suppe (jeweils mit lecker belegtem Brot, was da gar nicht dran stand) und danach noch alle Kaffee und je ein Stück Kuchen. Alles zusammen hat 40,80€ gekostet, was für heutige Verhältnisse wirklich günstig ist. Wir kommen wieder😄

Charming cafe with fresh food & cakes - Edit
Maybe a four overall for the food but definitely a five for the vibe. Marny's is a one-women show, and it's such a cozy cafe with fresh soups, sandwiches, and cakes. We got a bean tomato soup with soy chunks and an open-faced sandwich. Everything tasted very fresh. We also got a cinnamon apple cake that tasted like a cinnamon roll in cake form. I recommend if you want to support a lovely, vegan small business!

I would recommend anyone visiting Dusseldorf to stop by at this place, even if its just for a coffee. Marny’s is a lovely place with great interior which makes you feel at home straight away. The owner is a very kind lady who serves amazing vegan food and great coffee. The place is just a 10 minute walk from the main station and definitely worth taking the effort walking there. Will be back next time I’m in Dusseldorf!

Marny‘s selbst zubereitete Speisen und ihr Gebäck sind super lecker. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an herzhafte Speisen, sowie auch selbst gebackene Kuchen und weiteres Gebäck. Durch die wöchentlich wechselnden Suppen und Salate können saisonale Zutaten perfekt eingesetzt werden. Alles ist mit liebe zubereitet. Marny ist mit Spaß dabei und auch für ein Pläuderchen zu haben. Klare Empfehlung!

Marny's Essen ist super lecker! Die Portionen haben eine gute Größe und sind mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Die Stimmung im Laden ist sehr angenehm mit nettem Personal und angenehmer Musik im Hintergrund, die nicht aufdringlich, sondern sehr angenehm ist. Wir hatten die Avokado-Tomaten-Schnitte und den Nudelsalat des Tages und waren super zufrieden damit. Zum Nachtisch haben wir uns noch einen Zitronen-Kokos-Kuchen gegönnt. Unbedingt vorbeikommen!

The lady who keeps open the restaurant is soooo nice! She took so much time to explain every dish on the menu to us and she was genuinely nice, it wasn't just to sell us some food.

Marny’s is a relaxing place to sit and have a coffee. The food is fresh and the Milchkaffee is, in my opinion,the best in Düsseldorf. I can’t wait to taste some of the dishes which always look great.
