This bakery has mastered the art of sweets that aren’t too sweet. I got the shortcake and tea there and a pudding to go. They were delicious! Perfect place to stop if you’re by Shinjuku Gyoen.

I had had a ton of American style vegan cakes prior to my visit but this was my first time eating Japanese vegan cakes. Holy crap, they are sooooo good!!!!!!! I had the short cake (duh) and marron cake (again, duh) and they were the best. I’ll be coming back!!!!! 本当におすすめ

The sweetest little cafe! - Edit
Came here with a non-vegan and we both loved our cakes. I had a seasonal chestnut cake which was lovely, although an unusual texture, and I also tried the chocolate cake which was super rich and mouth-wateringly delicious. The coffee was a black coffee but perfectly complimented the sweet cake. A little bit pricey as another reviewer mentioned but the quaint, gentleness of this place deserves it, as well as the staff.
Read moreI just remembered I also tried a grape madeleine which was already wrapped ready to takeaway, and it was yummy too. Again the texture was slightly unusual but I loved it.

I love this cute cafe in front of shinjuku gyoen. The cafe is 10 min by JR station and have some table to enjoy cake. There are many vegan cake and drink.

Delicious Cakes - Edit
Finally I managed to visit Marbre Vegan, and what a treat it was! So glad that they had outdoor seating, so that we could look at the greenery across the street while enjoying our delicious cakes. We had the Blueberry Tart and the Strawberry Cake, and both were truly excellent! The staff was so kind and attentive! They told us that on certain days they also have sandwiches, and it’s best to check their Instagram for details. I am looking forward to coming back very soon and trying every single item they have!

I had a doctor’s appointment nearby and decided to pop in for a post errand chill out. The cafe is small and adorable, with great attention to detail in all its little plates, cups, tables, and of course puddings and cakes. I had the blueberry tart and gateau chocolat which were both delicious. I am normally a latte drinker so asked if they could do that even though it wasn’t on the menu, and they offered a (yes, cute) tiny pitcher of soy milk and sugar bowl along with my coffee.

Great place to hang out, sip your drink, eat a precious little cake and read a book just like we all pretend we’re doing on Instagram anyway.

I was craving vegan sweets in a relaxed atmosphere and Marbre fit those conditions perfectly! I went around 4pm on a Wednesday so they had a great selection: tiramisu, strawberry shortcake (seems to be the customer favorite), chocolate cake, blueberry tart (would have been my 2nd choice), apple tart, pudding, and maybe some kind of cheesecake. I chose the tiramisu and it was exactly as I like it: creamy without being too heavy or too sweet. Prices were reasonable, and I felt portion sizes were slightly bigger than other vegan cafes.
Read moreThe interior and atmosphere were very comfortable; although the cafe isn't that big, it feels spacious and isn't at all crowded, cramped, or rushed like many other cafes in Tokyo. The other patrons during my visit were all well-dressed, friendly, middle-aged Japanese people, so it was nice to see vegan sweets expanding to a new demographic.
Marbre is an excellent place to take your omni friends who believe vegan sweets can't be as good as dairy sweets ;)

Very cute and chill vegan cake cafe with such sweet and welcoming staff. Owner is very interested in the international community and speaks some word of English, Italian and German.
Read moreMarbre Vegan offers a variety of cakes (some gluten free) for sit-in and take out. I had the tiramisu and coffee - both very tasty. The cafe is not big, but atmosphere is very comfortable. Nice music in the background and light, bright interior and cute details.
