10/10 Pie. Will be visiting again. - Edit
I have been here a couple times already. The cream strawberry pie is seriously amazing. Also tried the "egg" sandwich and it was pretty good. With a sandwich and a piece of pie you can have a light meal for only 1500¥ total.

Man, this place oozes charm. The staff are wonderful and kind and their cheeriness infects you with ease. Right beside Shinjuku Gyoen, which you should visit before/after eating here.

Deliciousness lives here - Edit
I had the egg sandwich, and the tiramisu and an espresso, all were delicious. Looks like they have different sandwiches available on different days (only one option). I will be coming back.

Delicious cakes - Edit
Conveniently located near Shinjuku park. Has outdoor and indoor seating.
Read moreTried several cakes which were all great.
Also got the matcha roll cake for take away. Was very safely packed. Not may favorite; not very sweet and too matcha-y for my taste.
Matcha latte was also great!
Would definitely come back!

Vegan Cafe outside Shinjuku Gyoen - Edit
Right outside the Shinjuku National Gardens, this cute little cafe has the best vegan cakes. The cakes are beautiful and delicious, it was hard to choose just one.
Read moreI went for the famous egg salad sandwich, but discovered they didn’t serve in on that day. Egg salad sandwiches are served on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. The katsu sandwich (which was also amazing) is served on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday.

Marbre Vegan - Edit
The pastries here were beautiful! The ladies were so friendly and took great care in packaging everything. We enjoyed the lemon cake, but it might have been a bit too lemony for my taste.

Molto buono - Edit
Purtroppo noi siamo stati di domenica quindi c'era molta gente e tante torte erano finite ma quelle che abbiamo preso erano molto buone, personalmente non amo l'alcol nel tiramisù perchè il sapore si sente abbastanza

Super good! - Edit
Tiny little shop that was fairly busy when we went by in the evening. There wasnt a lot left to choose from cake wise but ended up with the chestnut cream cake and lemon cake roll. Both so nice and light, really tasty.

Get the cakes!! - Edit
I’ve visited Japan last year and this year again and I always make the effort to go here. There are many dessert options to choose from and they it very well. I love their chestnut cake and I love being able to have Asian style cakes! I have yet to try their ‘egg’ or katsu sandwich as I typically come at night. They don’t do both sandwiches on the same day so check with them on instagram before you go if you’re after a specific one.

The most delicious lemon cake ever! - Edit
I can't believe we accidentally found this amazing all vegan bakery when we were looking for the park entrance and wondered what all the people in line were waiting for. It was late afternoon and several of their cake options were sold out. We tried the lemon cake, blueberry tart and the chocolate/vanilla mousse cake. The chocolate and blueberry were very good, but the lemon cake was amazing and super-intensely lemony. I was impressed that the vegan cream was so light and similar in texture and flavor to dairy cream. I recommend going early in the day to have the best selection!

A charming vegan bakery with wonderful staff - Edit
Absolutely loved our visit to Marbre vegan. The ladies working there were just so delightfully nice, they didn't speak much English, which is fine as we had no trouble ordering. We ordered matcha lattes, strawberry cake, and chestnut cake. The strawberry cake was out of this world delicious, would love to eat this again every day of my life 🤣 if you are visiting Tokyo and have a sweet tooth like myself then I'd highly recommend a trip here!

Ludicrously delicious - Edit
I usually don't go for overly fancy food, let alone dessert, in upscale areas of town, but if I could award three Michelin stars - as in: definitely worth it to make the trip just to eat there - I would.
Read moreThe cheesecake was unlike anything I'd ever had. Permeated by a creamy richness and masterfully balanced by the caramel notes of the crust. The Victoria sponge with the cute strawberries was another masterpiece. I had never had this kind of cake that is usually found in luxuriously decorated stalls in department store basement floors. Yet they always seemed inviting. Glad I could finally try one and it did deliver: superbly subtle and light, perhaps only lacking a little sweetness in the actual strawberries, but it *is* fall and strawberries are woefully out of season.
I also had a mock egg sandwich which was another item I'd always enviously passed in kombinis and other stores. I recommend it with the same enthusiasm you've hitherto come to know from this review.
Please excuse the potato photos which were made while ravenously indulging in the treats in a park after a particularly exhausting ride on the Yamanotesen.
Pros: Excellent taste, Relatively cheap, especially for the location, They even gave us icepacks for the cakes
