Sweets here are a delight. Of course I recommend the strawberry cake, it is made of rice flour, very soft and elegant. I took 2 pieces because it was so good 🫶🏽

Lovely little cafe next to beautiful gardens - Edit
Great sandwich and gorgeous cheesecake. Lovely service and very reasonably priced. The coffee wasn’t to my taste but some may like it. We ate in, but would also be nice to takeaway and eat in the park. Would definitely return.

I tried two different things: strawberry cake and egg sandwich, and they were both pretty good! Latte was mediocre though, although not the reason I came here. It was really to try vegan desserts, as that can be hard to find in some places. Left pretty happy, as the bakery is right near a nice park.

We do t usually hit bakeries. We are not really dessert people, but we had a beautiful morning in the park and wanted a Sammie so we decided to head here for lunch. The sandwich of the day changes between tofu “egg salad” and chick’n cutlet. The Egg salad Sammie was incredible. I never even liked egg salad before going vegan so this was even better! We got the matcha tiramisu also because how can you not! We are going back today!!

I have a Shinjuku Gyoen annual pass and though I love the garden and all, it's mostly because this place is right here. And I'd go wherever Marbre vegan is. Brownie points that it's in such a cute, calming, and convenient location though!😄
Read moreI came here for the first time while on a trip in Japan, and though I only spent 3 days in Tokyo then, I came here twice. And then when I moved here, I immediately went twice again. I dream of their strawberry cake and tart. Their kakigori in the summer is incredible, it's an actual experience what with the generous, sweet, creamy, decadent yet fresh toppings! They do fruit sandwiches on odd Fridays as well, and they're sooo good (be sure to reserve). Their drink menu is wonderful, too, there's something for everyone (and I say this as a tea girlie). Every single pastry I or anyone in my vicinity has ever gotten here was SO perfect, I really have to restrain myself not to get a bunch of them every time I come here. But that's just because I come a lot😉
Also, everyone who works here is super sweet!! In both English and Japanese so no worries at all :)

Strawberry cake was nice, quite sweet but liked it overall. Chocolate cake was a bit dense but flavour was okay. Would definitely go try more stuff, like the tiramisu if I could. Latte wasn’t the best flavour wise, mellow coffee flavour and felt more like they used an americano than espresso

This place has, by far, the best deserts we have tried so far in Japan. The matcha tiramisu is incredible. The location is also very close to the Shinjuku Gyoen garden, which is a must-visit in Tokyo.

These were the most wonderful excellent vegan desserts in Tokyo! We went to the Cafe twice because it was so good and the staff were very friendly. The sakura/ cherry blossom smoothie was amazing, the strawberry short cake that was also gluten-free was the best I have ever had, light and fluffy, which is not easy to do with gluten-free flour! My family thought the sandwiches were the best they had in all of Japan! Also, the sakura rainbow layer cake was amazing!

Niedliches kleines Café in Shinjuku - Edit
Kleines, eher unscheinbares veganes Café, das uns aber wirklich begeistert hat. Besonders die Kuchen waren hervorragend. Auch das Sandwich war lecker und perfekt für eine kleine Pause zwischendurch. Die Atmosphäre ist eher ruhig und schlicht, aber genau das machte den Besuch angenehm. Für vegane Küchlein würden wir definitiv wiederkommen.

Absolutely blown away by this place. My husband who is non-vegan also thought it was incredible. We ordered the vegan sandwich which was egg salad, and both of us thought it was tops! We also ordered the lemon roll, strawberry tart, and hand apple pie and all were incredible. Everything was so good that we took duplicates of everything home!
