Much better than expected - Edit
I’m not entirely sure what previous reviews were on about but they set me up to be pleasantly surprised. It isn’t a bad thing for a pizza place to “only” have a vegan cheese when you can customize the toppings and there’s tons of veggies to choose from.
Read moreWe seized the rare opportunity to get a vegan calzone and weren’t disappointed in the slightest. The bee hive cheese is one of the best vegans cheeses available and they had plenty of veggies to choose from.

They offer vegan cheese (bee hive). They have one vegan pizza on the menu. I ordered a single slice of it and when he rang it up it was $8.25. For ONE SLICE. Pizza wasn’t even hot, and the crust was like dry cardboard.

There’s barely any cheese on it. The crust is hard and dry. The sauce has no flavor.

MUST get a slice of the pizza! - Edit
This was my first stop when I got to Asheville and it lived up to the hype! The slices were huge and SO good! Thin crust with a nice crunchy bite. Yum!

Only one designated vegan option, but it was super good. Can sub vegan cheese for other dishes for $2. Decent portions, doesn’t skimp on taste. Fries were confirmed by the chef to be vegan as well tho only state vegetarian on the menu.

Options are there… - Edit
Maniciomos has maybe the most delicious pizza in Asheville, and they have all the veggies and vegan cheese options that you could want. My only gripe is that after you add all of the vegan toppings one pizza comes out to $40 . Just too expensive of an up charge to add the vegan toppings. That said, it is delicious if you can afford it.

This place uses the be-hive mozzarella which is delicious. The vibes are fun and remind me of sitting down in a NYC pizzeria. Casual and quirky decor around. The staff was kind.
Read moreThis place has a huge opportunity to have the best vegan pizza in Asheville. Their sauce & crust are delicious but the AshVegan pizza needs a face lift to add more flavor. Otherwise, pretty good.
Would also love to see some vegan parmesan!
