The staff were very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our smoothies. It is on the pricier side and the cardamom bun was pretty dry, but delicious nonetheless! Definitely coming back😄

Mahalo was the first fully vegan restaurant in Groningen and is still very much celebrated. Its a nice place to visit when you visit Groningen for the first time, but in my opinion its a bit overrated. The menu is very small and hasnt changed in years, so unfortunately I hardly go here. Last week I met with a friend for breakfast and they do have tasty pancakes 😊 but I think it has a lot of unfulfilled potential.

Mahalo serves delicious and healthy vegan food. In summer time they also offer pick nick boxes which I have yet to try. When the sun is out, there is usually a queue but that’s because it’s great to grab and go sit in the park.

All vegan! Very nice location also. When they first opened (different owner) the pies were delicious. I think a girl from out of town, denise, made them. That arrangement with her stopped and all pies ever since are okay, but not on Denise her level.

Nice location, cosy interior. Cardamon bun was very tasty, not too sweet. Could have been bigger. Avocado toast was tasty and a generous size. There could have been more options for breakfast, and it’s a shame that you can’t order from the lunch menu until midday.

The sun is out again so I wanted to treat myself for a Mahalo breakfast. I love their outside terrace, great location, you can easily sit there for hours. I chose the Berry Smoothie Bowl (amazing!!), iced Matcha latte (delicioussss) and Snickers Bar as 'dessert' (wow!). Best experience I had at Mahalo so far😄10/10

Friendly staff, nice location close to the parc. The apple juice was quite nice. Tables, decorations etc. very nice and cosy. Unfortunately I didn’t really like my food. The soup was missing a lot of flavour, the salad came with chocolate (?) dressing and chocolate drops what didnt meet my personal taste. Unfortunately there were no signs (declarations on the menu) about this. Overall a nice place and I would clearly come back for coffee, tea or other drinks.

Really nice location, really good healthy foods! Tasty salads, smoothies and juices. Also a nice selection of soups. Good for breakfast too. It's a great place to sit outside with a coffee on hot summer days.
