Amazing Donuts & Delicious Sides! 🍩 - Edit
Unfortunately, the bao buns were already sold out when we visited, but the sides were really good, and the donuts were absolutely incredible! They also offer matcha options, which is a nice bonus. Definitely worth stopping by, even if you miss out on the baos!

Delicious - Edit
After travelling around Japan for a while, it was nice to try something different after having a lot of ramen and rice-based stuff. We have not tried a lot of bao buns before but thesd were very delicious!

Everything is deep fried - Edit
They do decent smoothies.
Read moreEvery bao option is deep fried and even the whole restaurant inside just smells like fried oil. Even the tofu fish option (which doesn’t look as fried in the picture) is deep fried. We also got the salad which, though not fried, was still covered in oil.
If fried food is your thing, you might like it. Otherwise, this might not be your place.

Deliciously soft baos - Edit
We found this place by accident as we were walking by, and the baos were absolutely delicious, packed full of veg and I had the dried tofu with cheese sauce bao. The wedges that came with it were tasty and the lemonade was super fresh. They even offered vegan ice cream but I was too full !

Baos were sooooo good - Edit
I enjoyed one and a half baos here. My favorite was the one with nori tofu and tartare, but the falafel bun was also very good.

Delicious (and big) bao! - Edit
Tons of options, all vegan. Pillowy bao bun with fresh crunchy veggies, flavorful sauce, something tasty and green in between the two layers of fried tofu in the one I ordered. Very friendly atmosphere and food was great!! Highly recommend for lunch after exploring Nara Park.

The best food I’ve had in Japan - Edit
Note: they’ve moved to Nara, but it’s worth the trip. The miatake bao was the best food i had in Japan. It was so flavorful and delicious. I almost took the hour train ride back to Nara the next day for some. Go here and support them. It’s so yummy.

Vegan ice cream - Edit
Delicious vegan ice cream and it's very cool in a vending machine (24/24h).

Do not skip the donuts!!! - Edit
Sweet outdoor space with lots of bao options! Arrive early; we got there an hour after opening and within a few minutes the entire space was occupied.
Read moreThe bao were so good!!! I had been craving falafel and it was perfectly crispy. All of them were delicious, but the falafel was my favorite!
We also got the strawberry donut and OMG it tasted like funnel cake. I could have cried— it was so delicious: cakey on the inside and a bit of crunch on the outside.
Incredible place!!

This place is amazing! - Edit
We tried the Maiitake Bao and the Freezed Dried bean curd and it was so good! We taught the place was close because google map will tell it's temporary closed but that's the previous shop that was at the same place! Go and try it if you are in Osaka. They are closing down the Osaka location on November 30th 2025 and reopening in Nara in March 2026 for your information.
