Super nice fast food, I took the Kapsalon, assuming to have something real dirty, it was pretty ‘clean, yet super tasty. Tried the classic burger and rice-fish too, damn lekkkerrrr! And super bitterballen ook!

Legit bitterballen, burgers and salads - Edit
Came here on a busy evening with a comedy show and a big group of people occupying most of the space, so I'd recommend making a reservation for weekend nights. We had the bitterballen, a tasty Indonesian burger and the surprisingly spicy protein salad.

Read moreThe Classic Burger was honestly pretty average, nothing special. The Indonesian Burger, on the other hand, was really tasty, and the fries we ordered were good too.
The place itself isn’t the coziest to hang out in, to be honest. Also, the toilet (and the area around it) could definitely use more frequent cleaning.
All in all, not bad — but definitely room for improvement.

Wij hadden de kapsalon en bitterballen burger. Beide waren prima maar niet bijzonder. Frietjes waren erg lekker. Leuke sfeer en personeel. Wel gek dat er 1 niet vegan drankje (bevat honing) op de menu kaart staat. Voor de rest wel alles vegan.

We've ordered here many times. I've tried all their burger options. An ex really enjoyed their Classic Lust burger with sweet potato fries. He literally ate it every Friday weeks in a row. Until I wanted to try out other places as well. But today, instead of ordering in, we went there to eat which was even better in my opinion. Because the staff is friendly, plenty of room to sit and the fries are still crispy on the outside😄

Wanted to have their signature burger (lust) but it was sold out ... (we were here for lunch on a Saturday).

Food came swiftly. Okish. But nearly 1/3 of fries (at the bottom) were leftover tiny bits... not nice.
Service friendly, but reserved.
The place was a but shabby. Decorated with plants, but most were in a pretty poor state and wilted. Doesn't give a nice impression and a pity for the plants too ...
Toilets are upstairs and were really dirty (clearly not cleaned for a while, bin with paper full, ...). Meh.

Great burgers, but non-vegan drink disappointment - Edit
Our bitterballen burgers were very nice, but to our disappointment we discovered that one of our drinks (the Charitea Green) contained honey and is therefore not vegan. This is counter to the claim of the restaurant being fully vegan with a "fully vegan menu" as printed at the top of said menu. We told the waiter, who appreciated this, but he didn't say whether the drink would be taken off the menu.

Vegan kapsalon - Edit
My husband wished to try some vegan kapsalon, so we were looking for a restaurant offering it and found this place. I ordered the same dish. My husband really enjoyed it while I didn‘t that much, but that is a matter of personal taste. The ingredients were very fresh and we even witnessed how the chips were produced from potatoes right behind the counter.

The staff were friendly and it is a relaxed, down to earth place.

Ik ben als vegan een beetje burgermoe, maar was toch benieuwd naar de bitterballen. Die burger was smaakvol, wel een beetje onhandig om te eten. De Atlantic schijnt ook lekker te zijn.

I loved this place. Our friend took us here to try bitterballen for the first time but one look at the menu and we knew we had to stay for a full dinner. I would highly recommend the bitterballen burger with chips. I will 100% go back when I'm back in Groningen.

I got the lentil sprout burger and my husband got the lust burger, both really good. We also shared fried which were excellent and tried the butter ballen, really tasty also. If you feel like a burger and fries, this is a great place. Casual and friendly staff also and not expensive.
