The perfect place for K-food lovers!

For me, this is the best vegan restaurant in the world. If you want to try authentic Korean flavors, I highly recommend the Soondae-gukbap (vegan Korean sausage soup). The broth is incredibly rich, savory, and full of depth — a great way to experience real Korean comfort food.

Their udon, tonkotsu ramen, and mala noodles are also fantastic choices. Honestly, I’ve never had a bad meal here.

If you’re visiting Seoul, I think this place is absolutely worth the trip, even though it’s not located near the main tourist attractions. And if you do make the journey, you can explore the nearby Aegineung Site (the old tomb of a king’s son) and enjoy a beautiful view of Seongbuk-gu from above. Don’t worry — it’s more of a mini mountain than a real hike!

Great food, friendly atmosphere, and a chance to see a different side of Seoul. Highly recommended!

Always Love Loving Hut 🥰

There were at least 9 Loving Hut locations in Ulaanbaatar (google maps search) before I came but today I went to 3 of them and 2 of them were permanently closed sadly. So I finally settled in with this one. To my surprise, it has a small menu but big ambition with all the vegan products and production line going on at the restaurant/store. From freezer section of a variety of vegan meat products to cookies, cakes and “kumbucha on tap” (feels like a pub) you name it, this place has it all. Around 2-6 pm, this place is so packed with people. Do go earlier to avoid crowds. I had dumplings, beet soup (comes with chapati) and a slice of chocolate cake (not too sweet, super fancy) and a lemon ginger kombucha (got too excited and forgot to take photo). I would definitely recommend the dumplings, chocolate cakes and kumbucha. I got to sample their baked goods, the mini pineapple cake was excellent, reminds me of those Taiwanese pineapple cakes but much more crispy on the outside and soft, tender on the inside, it just melted inside your mouth.. I guess don’t need more words to describe it. Amazing food, great experience!

Tasty

Friendly staff who were patient in trying to help me understand the menu. Smaller menu than some of the other loving huts in town but also a cheaper price. Food was delicious! They also sell some tasty vegan snacks which is great for the long distance travelling required in this beautiful country!

This is by far my favourite loving hut in town

Great food, nice market with mock meats. They have the best fish in Ulaanbaatar by far. Highly recommended
