New branch in Kowloon Bay, hoping for more variety of dishes next time - Edit
The Loving Hut branch in San Po Kong recently moved to Kowloon Bay. Located on 2/F of Eastmark, it’s quite spacious. You can order by scanning a QR code and there’s an adorable robot that will serve the dish to you!
Read moreWe went on a Saturday and ordered black pepper steak with bolognese spaghetti, vegan pho, beancurd with braised rice, vegan nuggets, and iced monk fruit tea. The spaghetti with black pepper was definitely the highlight, but honestly, some of the other dishes could have used more spices.
I've been to other Loving Hut branches before, and this one's menu feels a bit stripped down. Portions are smaller too. Kind of a bummer that they were already out of cakes and curry rice when we got there.
The total came to 230 HKD which was pretty reasonable for 3 people. I’m hoping for more variety and less dishes sold out the next time I come.
P.S. Please pay attention to opening hours as they close early and they are closed on Sundays.

Just tried to come for early dinner and they’re closed. Shutters down, no furniture inside 😣

Yes, they are closed permanently. Also, they have a pop-up store at Kowloon Bay from May 6 to Jun 15, 2025:

Delicious - Edit
Really delicious and super friendly with good English and vegan staff. It’s up the escalator in a food mall. It’s a small restaurant but with an eating area just opposite. I had no idea what to eat so I asked him to choose. I had the pineapple burger with soup. Super tasty and only £6.50 with a drink. I’m only in HK 2 days. If I return I’ll come back again.

Amazing hospitality and memorable food - Edit
The FOH was impeccable in the way he explained everything around the store and advertised the products. He was also generous to share me some green tea before him and auntie made a fantastic omnimeat burger and hot tea for my order.

Nice staff, nice eating area - Edit
Whenever I come here, I always get the ramen. It’s delicious and cheap. My non-vegan friends and family also love this place! The area inside the restaurant itself has some seats, but there’s a separate seating area that’s very tidy and overlooks the street outside.

Cosy little restaurant - Edit
The last of the Loving Huts in HK. After the one in Amoy Gardens closed I was looking for a regular place to eat nice vegan food. This place is pretty small but the food is tasty. The menu isn’t large but the options are pretty good with spaghetti, soup noodles, wraps and burgers. You can add a few things on like soup, soya milk, tater tots and juice soda. The price is pretty good, too. Worth a try if you’re in the area.
