Love the Love Shack - Edit
Superb vibe...uber cool decor...and the food...Wow. The Tofu Karaage is just heavenly. Definitely recommend the Honey Mustard Buffalo Wings too. The Wonky Pirate cocktail is a dream....and don't ask what's behind the bookcase!

Disappointing - Edit
We had to leave without eating due to having to wait over an hour for brunch. Wait staff were not communicating at all and just kept saying five more minutes. There was a private event downstairs so perhaps that had impacted the service. Really disappointing.

Amazing for people with allergies - Edit
Honestly one of the greatest cares I’ve ever received as a person with an onion allergy. They staff were checking with chefs every singly dish to make sure I have the biggest choice possible, and the food was so sooooo yum. The vibe itself is also amazing, chilled and funky at the same time

Cute and funky spot - Edit
4.5 stars ⭐
Read moreSuch a fun spot with lots of couches and tables inside and out. As others have said, don't expect quick service even if the cafe is quite! The staff are very friendly though. I thought the food was really nice and a decent size. My only complaint was my toast wasn't very toasted so the toppings on top had soaked in and created a very soggy mess in the middle, but taste wise very nice. My partner liked the lobster roll

There’s a good reason so many London vegan social events are held here: it has a gorgeous, quirky, bohemian style, a fully vegan menu, lots of variety and it’s all really tasty!

Great food but painfully slow service - Edit
I hate to give a fully plant based spot less than a perfect review, but every time I’ve gone I was stuck waiting ages to catch someone to order, then for each dish and then more for the check to come. The food and drink itself was delicious though and by itself would’ve deserved 5* so I don’t want to take more than a star off for the slowness

Very impressive - Edit
I took my boyfriend for his birthday to the love shack and it was amazing. We were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff who were very kind and attentive, and the decor was so cool; I loved it immediately. (We were happy to see they have board games to play too!) the cocktails were beautiful and unique, but the food… the food was next level. I mean, we were excited that it was 100% vegan but honestly I was blown away by the flavours! We shared 5 small plates between us and loved every bite. So much love in that place, we left with full tummies and full hearts 🥰

Great vibes - ok food - Edit
Nice chilled out vibe and decor. Food was ok/average. Not amazing. I had the ‘tuna’ melt which was pretty good except I felt it had too much of the chick pea thing so the sandwich mainly tasted of chick pea. The sourdough bread itself was amazing. The accompanying salad wasn’t to my liking and unfortunately I didn’t finish it. The kimchi was not to my taste either. It was spicy and a bit soggy - i prefer my kimchi a little on the firmer side and with less spices.

Someone else had the tofu scramble dish which looked delicious so I might try that next time!

Read moreCome for the food, stay for the beautiful hosts.
Not only does the food here at love shack make me want to happy dance all the way to the vegan disco, the hosts are genuinely such incredible, beautiful humans. They’re at the forefront of local activism, standing for all things good and ethical and using their space to promote living with kindness, and standing up for what is right - what every vegan business should aim to achieve. Thank you for a beautiful night, and keep on being you.
