Amazing! - Edit
Delicious vegan comfort food! There's an English menu, really friendly and accommodating staff, and cute atmosphere. Seating is limited so you may have to wait for a table, worth it though!

Polish food - Edit
Great place to try vegan versions of some of the traditional Polish dishes. We had "Rosół" (broth), "Schabowy" (cutlet) and "Naleśnik Ruski" (Russian pancake). Both came with a small salad and the cutlet was accompanied by mashed potatoes. They were very good as was the dessert - millet cheesecake. We'd definitely go back.

Must visit in Warsaw - Edit
I absolutely love this place and visit it everytime I am in Warsaw. This is 100% cooperatively run business that is an advantage for me. The food they serve is Polish cuisine in a vegan way. Very close to the main train station - about 15-20min walk. My favourite is the summer "steak". A few tables outside to sit at. 5 stars from me.

Expected something better - Edit
The place looks great and has a very positive vibe. I ordered the famous 'schabowy' and after reading the reviews I expected something extraordinary. Unfortunately, I was very dissapointed as it wasn't that tasty (the coating especially).

Nice food, friendly staff - Edit
We had dinner here and the staff were friendly and spoke English.
Read moreThe millett soup was really tasty and the Chinese salad was large and interesting. We shared a pastry which was also tasty.
The toilet was clean and there were facilities for baby changing and sanitary products for women in need of this.
There was a nice vibe to the joint overall and we had a nice evening. They had some books on a shelf including vegan with a vengeance😄.
Nothing bad to say about the place really.
Pros: Tasty food, Friendly staff, Nice vibe and good facilllities

If you are looking for traditional Polish Food try this - Edit
The palace is cozy and the staff is always polite and willing to explain the menu to you.
Read moreThe food tastes nice and it's inspired by polish cousine.
I think the prices are a bit too high considering the simplicity of the dishes (soy stake, pickels and mashed potatoes for 25zl) but considering the location it's understandable.

Tasty food (both main dishes and pastries), big portions, friendly staff, nice atmosphere - Edit
We had a Sunday lunch at Lokal Vegan Bistro in late October 2018, and loved both the place and the food!
Read moreWe visited on a very cold and rainy day, but if you go on a warmer day, you can also sit at the tables outside (there is a big umbrella above them to protect you from the sun😄). The place was pretty packed, we hardly found an empty table. The interior was youthful and minimalist-modern, the toilet was clean. The staff was very friendly, spoke perfect English, and happily explained everything on the menu for us. If you don’t speak Polish, they remember to call your number in English. We felt very welcome.
We did not have to wait long for the food (~5 minutes) – you order at the counter, you pay for it, and once ready, you are called by the number on your receipt. We chose BBQ "Ribbs" with baked potatoes and beetroot salad (it was part of the menu between 23 Oct and 04 Nov, and cost 25 zloty), and mango lassi for drink (13 zloty). The "Ribbs" were something like seitan, but airier, spongier – we loved the soft texture and the spicing! I requested my beetroot salad to be switched to something else, and the staff was happy to offer substitution possibilities (tomatoes or pickled cucumber) – I chose tomatoes. The tomatoes were topped with vegan yogurt flavoured with herbs, which was delicious – just like the whole plate! The food was served on a very big plate, and the portions were big, but not overwhelmingly big, we managed to eat everything without feeling that stuffed. The mango lassi was delicious, but it was also very thick and filling (the staff did warn us about this – it is approx. 4 deciliters, 2 of which is soy yogurt) – so we did not need any dessert in addition :)
Talking about desserts: there were super yummy-looking pastries too on the counter (turns out the owners of the bistro also have a vegan bakery in the nearby), and I bought one to take with me and have for breakfast next morning. I can’t even imagine how delicious it must be when fresh, but it was still super soft, tasty and sweet (with just a little sourness because of the blueberries it contained) about 15 hours after its purchase, when I had it. If this stuff was available anywhere where I live, I would be a regular breakfast eater there! :)

Best polish vegan "pork" chop in Warsaw - Edit
Gigantic portions of traditional Polish cutlet with potatoes and season vegetables. They serve other vegan dishes but I haven't try it yet because every time I'm here I can't resist this one special vegan "pork" chop. I highly recommend.

Polish vegan food - Edit
If you are vegan and visit Poland and want to try polish food this is a good place to go. The dishes are quite big and filling and also delicious. The staff was really nice and the lunch was prepared quickly (about 5-7min waiting time). They only have a few dishes to chose from, but the ones we chose were really good.
